2016 Fantasy Baseball Thread - Page 174 - Fantasy Sports -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I need yalls help on this. I'm behind in batting stats in the finals and i'm going to need to go yolo and drop potential keepers to get Thursday at bats just for that one day.

16 keepers (keep forever), 12 teams. Which of these guys will make me ragret dropping/not keeping for next year forward the most?

(ordered by my personal opinion from "yea he's replaceable" to "you idiot you'll regret dropping him asap")

Michael Pineda
Drew Pomeranz
Kenta Maeda

Hammel can be dropped easily AINEC. Pineda is my damn kryptonite with stupid borderline elite peripherals yet gives up 900 homers. I think you got the order right

I'd drop Fiers for sure unless it's some super deep league where every SP is on a roster. He'll be 32 next year and he's pretty mediocore

But he still hits in Yankee stadium which is an advantage none of the other catchers have and arguably more important the DH means he's going to play more games than any catcher eligible player (barring injury)

Assuming he's 60-70% of what he is now next year if he gets 500 ABs he's still head and shoulders the top catcher

Meh, Im not buying the hype and I own him in a couple keeper leagues.
Everyone felt the same way about guys like Carlos Santana, Gattis, Zunino, and even Posey etc. almost invariably an early round pick does not work out on catchers.

Tom Murphy (COL C) is hitting for some power if you need to stream a bat. Caution that only 3 of the remaining 10 games are at Coors

Hundley is a FA after this year, hoping Murphy doesn't get TOO much pre-draft helium next year but might be wishful thinking (note most of my leagues are two catchers so he should be relevant)

Whee this is so much fun. Losing all 6 hitting categories (R H HR RBI SB AVG) with 40 extra at bats on my side. Thanks Napoli Lamb and Machado for the combined 0/24 with 1rs line.

I figure nothing else has worked so maybe some public shaming will flip a switch. Waiting on results of Yelich+Bell at bats so I can update figures... Yelich K, and Josh Bell doesn't make it past the pitcher. Just edit the above to read 42 more at bats.

Well you got a Yelich HR!

I was looking at McCutchen since he has finally shown some signs of life over the last six weeks. His August/September much more in line with career norms. I was looking for a reasonable comp for a 25 HR / 5-10 SB .. so ..

Who'd you rather - McCutchen or Jackie Bradley Jr

Has anyone heard any news on Feliz? Have him in holds league, has been out for 2.5 weeks with a "right arm injury", threw a bullpen session over a week ago and nothing, would like to dump him if they're just gonna shut him down
