I was looking at gto and had a question. I would like to hear from the experts.
In BBvsUTG(3bet pot), in AK6r, BB bet smaller size with high frequency.
But in UTGvsBB(single pot), in AK6r, UTG bet big size including pot over at a high frequency.
In the former case, BB's range is very strong against the board, so it is understandable that BB is betting smaller to get calls from various hands. That way you can use the same size in bluff.
From my point of view, the latter seems to be in the same situation, as UTG's range is so strong against the board that a large bet does not seem to produce a profitable call for us.
Can someone please help me solve this mystery?

There are some pretty key big differences and two of the main ones are stack depth and position.... How about you run a sim with the different ranges, but keep IP/OOP and SPR the same so you can compare it with some controls first.
Generally speaking, OOP can always opt into smaller sizings a bit more compared to IP, because a small bet is not re-opening the pot. There is also less incentive to go larger when OOP at medium-ish stack depths in a lot of situations because a geometric size to get it all in for your example is still only ~50-70% psb (depending on 3-bet sizes)... basically meaning that opting in to smaller sizings here otf doesn't mean OOP can't get it all in on future streets quite easily.
You're really kind of comparing apples and oranges to a certain extent here. I'd suggest you toy around with the ranges in your own sim, but keep all other things the same.

Thank you brokenstars!
I appreciate your answer.
I'll try to simulate it as you suggest!
