Does the bonus from pit crew Friday become void upon withdrawal?

How much is the ticket from Wheelin Wednesday worth? I do not see a $5k guarantee on Sunday at 13:00 server time. Their is a $10k guarantee with a $33 buyin at 13:00 on Sunday.

Overall the value of the daily promos decreased for everyone.

Wondering this as well.

And will there still be a 100k guaranteed tournament on Sundays?

wow, this is a pretty huge step down from June's promotions, and your making qualifying for KOTR harder?

Are you excepting new USA players yet?

Pretty much ensures that micro players will not be able to make KotR and get sick rakeback value.

The daily promo with smaller bonuses to be cleared were much better. Many people could qualify by doing 2500 hands or so but now you can earn a bonus only on Fridays and by doing a ridiculous amount of hands. On top of that, we aren't even sure if the bonus expires upon withdrawal.

I think pit crew Friday needs to be tweaked a little. For one, to add a way to qualify via tournaments. Second, to make the bonus not expire upon withdrawal. And third to reduce the hands/tournies required. Might as well reduce the amount of $ for the bonus as well. A bonus that clears after raking $3750 ($5769 for RB players) should not be a daily promo.

but they are still able to qualify for overdrive club, where you get a larger bonus

No promo's for Saturday/Sunday?
07-01-2011 , 07:15 AM
I guess RPM realized giving away a ton of free money every month is not really a great business model .
07-01-2011 , 07:20 AM
Sucks for the players like me who play 4-6 tables

I wouldn't do it man. If you already have a bonus, it's not worth it. It's not $500 cash.

I just made a spreadsheet about June's promotions.. Look how much of a value we were getting

https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...Xc&output=html

A lot different now..
I don't know the value of the $5k Guar ticket.. I think $60
I wish it was $109 8k hands took up my entire day lol..

In that spreadsheet is if you played 3k hands everyday and netted $5 total. Rakeback figure was my avg rakeback from 3k hands.
If you played 3k hands and the 100 tourneys a week for the promos required, you would actually beat KOTR.

I like the heat wave promo.. but a very small amount of ppl will be able to get in the top 5.

Sadly, RPM is still better than Lock That's why I made that chart anyway.. to show the lost value between RPM and Lock.

I don't know how attainable 3k hands and $5 profit is over a month.. probably not realistic but you still got $300 in cash that was all based on amount of hands played.. I didn't add in ticket values to that figure.

**The only $3,000 Guaranteed at 13:00 I see is for $5.50.. If so, I will not be playing 5k hands
**King of the Road promo: 5k VIP Required.. I play micro stakes, and I only have 2.7k VIP earned.. although I get rakeback.. How fast would I have earned 2.7k if I was a VIP? I have played 60k hands at 4nl.. and 2k tourneys.

I wouldn't restrict this statement to RPM. Most of the Merge skins took a hit wrt promotions.

Wow this is pretty lame to get people to sign up with the allure of all of those great June Promotions just to nerf the hell out of them once you are stuck
07-01-2011 , 11:53 AM
I guess it couldn't last forever. RPM has always offered some of the best promo's around. I've played on RPM way before Black Friday and I always thought it was the best kept secret in Online Poker.

Since Black Friday I've seen:

-RakeChases stop
-Cash for VIP Points Exchange disappear
-Daily Promo's lose tons of value
-Cashouts become horrendously slow
-Support become mediocre
-KOTR go through 2-3 changes making it much tougher
-Games become a lot more reg infested
-Stop accepting US players

Obviously there have been good things also and I still think RPM offers some of the best value and some of the best support, but it's no longer so clear cut, IMO. Think I may be putting even more volume in at the other sites I play.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that this is less RPM's decision and more the changes to the entire Merge Network.

The promo's were like June as far back as I can remember and I played RPM way before Black Friday. I don't think it has to do with them trying to lure players in. I have a feeling it is more to do with the changes to the Merge Network and I have a feeling this is less RPM's decision then the Network wide changes. Obviously, this is just speculation and it may be RPM's decision completely. I know a lot of players on other skins were upset because they lost their Promo's. Example: Carbon Poker lost a lot of their promo's due to the network wide changes.

The support hasn't changed in the slightest. They just stopped responding to questions like "What will the DOJ do?" and "Why can't my check come faster?" For obvious reasons... the live chat is still there every day, so is skype, so is email. It's still the best around by MILES.

You seem to forget that these promotions are all on top of the rakeback/VIP program and bonuses, and the fact that RPM can't sign up new players from the US. I am still getting back around 60ish% through RB, races, bonus, etc. Micro players get less, but that's obviously because you don't rake as much as someone playing 2/4+
07-01-2011 , 01:27 PM
I'm a little bummed out, but just think about Lock Poker.. Their promos include the Royal Flush Bonus, the Bad Beat Jackpot, Tourney King, Freerolls, and a $50k tournament..

Notice how all of those are on RPM.. They also have two rake chases listed.. both are outdated.. one from January.. another from last November.. they have a tournament listed as a promotion.. and that tournament no longer exists.. It's now a $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament..

We still have things to be attained..
We were definitely spoiled.. We had money attainable just by playing 3k hands everyday..

Micro players were screwed.. (Like me..) but this does give me motivation to move to 10nl now..

Good points:
*We still get double VIP points, which we can use for tournaments.

*We still get a ticket on Wednesday, but the price of it is disputed. It's looking like it's only $5.50, but I highly doubt it. The only tournament I could find that was $3,000 Guaranteed (Since it isn't a Sunday) at 13:00 server time.. That was a $5.50 tourney, but I'm betting that the ticket is for like an $33, $60, $82, or $109 ticket. I wish it was still for the $109 because that's my favorite tournament.

*Heat Wave- New idea, I like it, except I'm not sure how plausible it is for me to even make a heat at 4nl because I need to earn 500 VIP pts.. I may make it.. I earned 715 VIP pts per week based on my rake ($285) contributed at 4nl/tourneys.. I also like that it's a SNG.. a better chance of winning if you do make it.. I hope they change the SNG's blind structure to 10 minutes instead of 7.. Merge's blind structure is difficult to work with.

*RPM 500 - I like it, but I think that it's going to be like the Heat Wave.. Top 10 ppl get $109 tickets.. well I think they split it between top 5 hands played and top 5 tournaments played.. compared to last month where it was top 10 tournaments played ( I think)..

*Overdrive Club is the same it looks like.. It's good if you do multiple withdraws when you have something come up in life..

*King of the Road: Great promotion, but very difficult for micro grinders now.. Impossible if you are doing the 2k tournament method, and playing 2k $0.11 SH ST SNGs.. 66 tourneys a day seems pretty damn difficult if you must contribute 5k VIP pts.. $500 in rake.. It's plausible if you do $2 Bounty SNGs.. but you must play 2,500 of them.. but I bet you can play 2000 of them, and the 15k hands will make up for the other VIP points..

Bad:
*Thursday's Promo is not worth it. If I play 150 $2 Super Turbo 6-max tournaments on Thursday, I get $2 back.. That's ridiculously unachievable.. and ridiculously cheap.. an $11 sat would be better.. (I believe it's unachievable, most tourneys I've played in a day is 220.. and those are $0.11.. and I went all in almost every hand.. I couldn't do that with $2 SH ST SNGs..)

*Friday's promo is too many hands for too little of a reward.. All the bonuses I have from last month will last me til whenever they expire, but I'll only get about $40 of that $500 bonus if I grind 4nl.. and that's based on like 60k to 100k hands.. now if I move up, I may be able to unlock it faster.. and I'm guessing the $1/$2 guys love these, but 10k hands is difficult. It takes me like 16 hours to do 8k hands for the $109 ticket.. That's because there are only like 5 tables open at 3am server time at 4nl.. and fewer at 10nl.. I believe there are a lot more tables at 4nl than another other level because it's the cheapest.. so 10k hands = very difficult..

Basically, I agree. RPM still offers great value overall. They offer less then they previously did, but when compared to other sites they still have some of the best value available.

As I said above, I wonder if this is not RPM's decision but the Merge Networks with all of the other changes the Network made?????

I do believe the support has changed, though I admit I worded it poorly. They are definitely much better then mediocre. They are no longer clearly the top support though IMO.

Also, I haven't forgot that these promotions are on top of the RB/VIP and bonuses. That's exactly why I started the post saying it couldn't last.

I was merely pointing out how it has changed since Black Friday. Even with the changes, I still said that RPM offers some of the best value and support available.

Promos need more poems IMO.
07-01-2011 , 02:43 PM
Yeah Lock lost all of our promotions

Oh wait, we never had any.
