Could you specify this in the [GMT-##] format, because something tells me that the CTS time option you guys have listed in the client is not the same as the server time.
Currently, selecting CST puts it at GMT-6, and makes it two hours behind current EST. If does not follow daylight savings, there is no way it could ever synch with EST(which is either GMT-5, or GMT-4 when EDT is in effect in the summer).
Basically, going by personal experience over the last year on RPM, it seems like the timezone is GMT-5 always, which would make it CDT (daylight saving always in effect) thus sometimes being in sync with EST.
Counter-intuitively Daylight Saving refers to saving evening daylight in the summer, and not the winter, so when a time does not use DST it refers to moving the clocks forward, not backward.
While this may seem like nitpicking for people outside of the US, if one ever has to schedule anything across international borders, having different understanding of CST/CDT/EST/EDT can ruin the whole thing.
