2. There are free drug-interaction checkers
3. Drug guidelines are free
4. Diagnostic information is easily accessible
5. Discussion regarding therapeutic options exists

Reasons why you're wrong:

1. There is a lot of misinformation out there and the untrained eye will not be able to differentiate good data and studies versus unreliable studies
2. Nuance differences in therapies is not intuitive
3. Understanding of drug interactions does not equal understanding combined therapies
4. Mechanism of action is not intuitive even when explained
5. Licensing is required and most people are lazy <-- most important reason you're wrong

This is already done and it doesn't eliminate human error, and replacing people with robots is actually NOT cost-effective nor readily feasible
Most lobbying for pharmacists is done BY pharmacists. However I have met a few big pharma lobbyists and they're just as dumb as politicians.

amazon prime purchasers. if anyone wants to buy something on amazon prime, usually it takes like less than a day and it's exactly the thing you wanted every time, right? well now everyone has to go to a specially-licensed guy who is highly trained in amazon and customer service, and they ask for the thing and he says, "ok, it'll probably be like the day after tomorrow because i'll order it now and i'll get it tomorrow and then i'll have to get it to you which will take additional time obviously" and people will evidently pay handsomely for that service.
