I know it is very taxing and takes a lot of time T, but I think you should get in here and address the trollness on an ongoing basis.

Coming thru and dropping videos while sitting back and watching the flurry of activity isnt progressive.

In before the math kids break down the deal and say he should of played it out for some nerdy reason

State laws define what the federal government can tax as income?

Funny, my suggestion was going to be the exact opposite: just keep putting all trolls on ignore and carry on my wayward son.

Of course not. Nobody's talking about federal taxes. State laws determine what income corporations pay state taxes on.

I'm very confused. Nevada does not have a state income tax.

Yes, you are very confused. Casinos and other corporations pay state income tax. (Which is also part of the reason why individuals don't.)

Not in Nevada they don't. There is a sales and use tax but no individual or corporate income tax.

Has Jonathan Little ever played 1/2? Serious question. As of a year ago, he hadn't.

In b4 Jonathan Little enters the thread to throw in his 2 cents.

According to the book he spent a 'decent amount of time' at the borgata and other local casinos playing 1/2 to write the book, which he makes i think 2 bucks per download.

What can a 2 time wpt champion tell you about small stakes cash games??? It's better than nothing... good listen so far.

Hopefully he has learned the value of raising it by 7x+ with value hands when players will call for half their stack to set mine.

Little actually recommends making small PF raises.

Easyish or at least attainable. He doesn't beat it for more, he moves up in stakes instead

I know that was the case. I was just wondering if he had improved his 1/2 game or not.

As for $35/hr being easy. LoL. Poker is (less than) a zero sum game. There are winners and there are losers (mostly losers). In Vegas there are tons and tons and tons of people just like Trooper grinding it out trying to make a living. Trooper lost $7k over like a 10 month period of time. Making over 10bbs/hr over a decent sample size is not easy to do.

yo homies

I probably should've qualified the 'easy' with 'easy for a 2 time wpt winner.' But if your listening to his book to improve your game your should be better prepped for the 1/2 streets that most everybody else in the room

Good videos Troop!
Great job at the tourney too, cool to see you playing one.
When/where are you going to post your tourney schedule/package, so we the masses can buy a peice and how are you going to accept funds ..ect??
Keep up the grind!

Nice video troop. Glad your finally increasing your pain threshold and these 3/4 bi losses aren't bothering you anymore. Just be patient and stay positive, you book another win soon! Good luck with your $10 free play.

Why do losing sessions NOT MATTER to TheTrooper? Some kind of defense mechanism? Also I don't he think he has as big of an edge in short handed games and he believes he does. Every vlog where he plays short handed he gets stuck a ton and claws back only to book another L.

Losing money at the Stratosphere at 4:00 AM playing with criminals.

Things are looking up.

Glad to see Trooper with some good news! Nice cash in the Aria tourney. I like the new date stamp at the beginning of the videos. I prefer it over live video versus over a black screen. Intro shots still are awesome, keep it up buddy!

It seems like the recent vlogs have had a theme or topic which I like a lot more than the random what I did today ones. What I'm trying to say is, vlog is getting better!

From following other poker blogs, I notice lots of players have an entry every few months with poker and life goals. It would be cool to see one from you including where you want to take the vlog/YouTube channel.

Keep on trooping, Trooper!

Stratosphere! Now Trooper is trolling NoQuarter

There is no state income tax for personal or corporations in Nevada. Gaming pays 6.75% tax on gross gaming revenues. Poker tournament rake is not considered GGR so it is tax free. There is a 1% +/- margins tax on very large corporations. This applies to hotels, nightclubs, utilities and the Walmart/Target/gas/grocery stores.

None of this applies to the IRS. That is an entirely different tax entity.
