Which CET property should I stay at? I'm just going to be visiting friends that live in LV and grinding so I'm mostly just looking for somewhere cheap and reasonably nice to stay that is walking distance to Aria. Bally's is the play right?

PH so it’s a quick walk across the street to Aria

That's a fact. Bellagio too.

A bit of a left will get you too the fishy MGM room. Oops, sorry for spilling the beans MGM low limit "pros".

And the prior post, Best wishes to you kicking ass at the Aria PLO tables. A few of those boys there are making better than minimum wage so they are good players.

Yeah I am thinking staying at PH is the play...it's a really great 1/2 NL game too or great 2/5 it runs. Last time I played there it was super fun. Some of my favorite/most memorable nights in Vegas involve that poker room...

I assume rooms are about the same quality/price as Bally's?

Earl of Sandwich is pretty nutty too.

Tyty.

edit: Is the $20 trick still a thing? I've actually never tried it...and is $20 enough or should I do more?

for certain, the alcohol flows in that room which makes it a fun room and an easy room if you play your cards right if you know what I mean

Checked in Sunday for 4 nights comp++, I put $20 with my ID and asked if I can get an upgrade, the guy said it is busy and all suits are booked, but offered a North Tower room with high floor (36XX) and fountain view, he said it costs $50 a night, but will give it for free. It is more than enough if you are solo. The view is almost perfect, I think it is even better than the view from the Bellagio rooms, easy and fast access to LVB, to the Miracle mall, and to the Bellagio. On the negative side, PH rooms do not have coffee machines, Bally's Jubilee tower room had one, when I stayed there the night before, but you can get coffee downstairs from SB 10 meters away from the elevator.

Most do not, unless you pay extra.

You could tell them you have medication that needs to be refrigerated and they will give you one for free. It's required by law I believe. If they say they'll put it in a public refrigerator just tell them you aren't comfortable with that.

Another data point... I've had refrigerators delivered the my room at harrahs and ceasars for free. But I am diamond and never asked if that's why it was without a charge.

I used to use the medical request, because I actually had probiotic pills that needed to be kept cold. One time on a strip casino they still wouldn't give me a free fridge, so I had to keep them in my cooler and fill with ice. Can't remember which hotel this was at though.

in february could have goten hotel + flight for 550 for excal, now its up to 850...300% price increase

I decided to book a room at polo towers which was 75$ cheaper, I feel location is better and they have their own fridge plus kitchen i suppose!

do you guys think its fair that instead of staying at excal i stayed at polo towers instead? I feel the location being closer to center of strip is cool, negative part is tehre is no casino but I wasnt planning on playing at excal to begin with

People also go to the casino to play poker, slots, roulette, black jack and other games. You can do all of that online if you want to.

They also visit restaurants, shows and bars inside casinos, even though they could eat and drink in front of their TV at home.

This can be answered by CET probably after being on hold for 30 minutes and I don't feel to comfortable asking them but was wondering if anyone here has done this/wondering if it's possible:

Max nights I can reserve on their website in a month is 11 at Bally's. I was wondering if I stay a couple nights on my own dime/uncomped/talk to the front desk when I get there, then reserve another 11 nights and repeat through the summer.

Thanks.

To get from downtown to Rio... if I have a 3-day 'deuce' pass.

I think after Deuce gets me to Caesars, I can walk over to Flamingo Rd and catch the 202/Flamingo bus to Rio? Deuce pass works on the 202/other routes, also?

Thanks

The length of time to get around this way makes this a very bad idea. One way and especially return you are wasting a bunch of your time in Vegas.
