21-24 Mar are the big 4 days, assume hotel rates will reflect this.

MGM is the easy winner of the first 4 (for me), assuming that resort fees are a wash. I don't recall. Signature is great if you want to be a little bit more removed and don't mind springing for it.

Depends on what you want to do. GN is downtown. Palms and HR are off the strip. For non poker gambling, I don't see much difference between casinos. If you want to play 1/2 NL, I suggest the Nugget. If you want to play bigger, MGM doesn't have bigger games, but is closer to places that do.

I keep hearing the games are good at the Nugget, it's tempting me despite being off the strip.

Lots of discussion about BBQ in the casual dining thread.

Don't strand yourself downtown. There isn't a 1/2NL game in Vegas that's worth going out of your way this much for.

I am considering having a month or two vacation in Vegas. I am looking at some places to stay. Safety first affordability second. Any suggestions?

I looked at Airbnb but any semi nice place is pretty expensive (min over 2k per month). Some apartments have short term rental but even though they look fine, reviews are pretty mixed.

Coming for a short trip in Jan. Would love to dabble in some super low limit mixed games for the lol’s. What options are out there, aside from the orleans?

I seen on poker atlas a $80 or $100 horse trny. Something like this is right in my wheelhouse. (Don’t even know the rules to the games but really want to play). Thanks

There has been a 4/8 mix game going occasionally at Aria.

3/6 at Mirage. From what I've seen and heard it seems like they can have friendly, fun, good action games some nights.

I just received an offer from MLife, 4 nights comped stay at MGM. My question is, can I book this offer for somebody else? If not, it would work to book it and check in for said person right? There is no info under T&C and I am able to fill out guest information, its not auto-filled so to say.

For CET hotels question:

I want to book 10 days at the RIO as they have a good Sun-Thursday price currently but the Friday and Saturday prices suck. If I book my 10 days and the Friday and Saturday prices drop like I expect them to sometimes between now and June can I get them to price match them but keep the good Sunday-Thursday prices?

Not sure but here is my suggestion. If you see a price drop, call their reservation dept and request the new pricing on your reservation. If it is not a pre-paid reservation and they refuse to re-rate your existing one, ask for them to cancel it and re-reserve at the new rate.

Rio's hotel and room condition reports have not been good for a while. They are one of the lowest rated major resorts on Yelp.

I've had this happen before at another hotel. I called the reservation system and asked them to match the lower weekend rates. They were against it and then I could just cancel my reservation and rebook and get the lower rate and they mentioned "good point" and updates my reservation.

It's a pretty rare circumstance but it does happen from time to time when the hotel misjudges demand.

I watched the Super Bowl from the poker tables at Flamingo. Get a good seat with a friend, play tight (or whatever); Probably not what you want. But you do get a seat and free drinks...
