You have two months of comped rooms? What did you do to get this?

Ha, what the Pope said.
Still doing pretty good, as it turned out I have to go back for work the weekend after, and have pretty much everything comped.
At my old home casino (ahhh, I miss it) Ameristar in Black Hawk, they awarded tier credits on the electronic craps game. At the time you could get a buffet voucher by earning 25 tier credits, which was exactly $100 coin through. I would begin every poker weekend by putting $50 on red $50 on black and printing a buffet coupon sweating the green.
Not bad, the buffet is only costing under $3 assuming you can handle the variance and don't tilt that poker session due to hitting green. I am assuming a single 0, which I guess might be a poor assumption. If 00, then costing you $5.50ish.
I know there was discussion about this not too long ago, but I'm on my phone all day so can't really search. After 10 trips I'm thinking of finally renting a car this time. I know people mentioned cheaper options or tricks than just whatever is offered at the airport places. Can someone resurrect the cliffs of that for me? Except for a day trip to SW Utah (2 hrs each way) it'd be all local driving. Thanks!

I recently used expedia to book a car and it was the cheapest I'd seen anywhere. Just be careful who you book through. I had initially went with Fox until I learned it was located in a separate facility further south than the rental car terminal at the airport. Taking two separate buses just to get to the rental facility seemed like a hassle...then I read their reviews and boy am I glad I switched to Alamo.
Also there is a fair bit of rental discussion in this thread.
I always book online and use a coupon code. 4 day rentals are generally the most expensive with 3 and 5 or more days giving better deals. I have often found 4 days rentals cost more than 5 days rentals as 5 day qualifies for the weekly rate which is often cheaper. I generally use an online coupon code at Avis to get decent prices.
I find the airport rental with the 5 minute shuttle to the car rental centre the best option. All the main rental companies are in that location but be sure to check that your rental company is there as some are not located there. It is sometimes cheaper and saves on return cab fares to the airport if you rent at the airport rather than the strip or at another off airport location.
