^thx but the $ isn't so much the issue (although 5-10 amounts would be perhaps uncomfortable) But for now I just want to get more firmly established at 2-5 and with a bigger sample size then see where things go from there organically. I sort of think that barring a few rare exceptions, live cash staking is hard to do viably, would have to be a strong trust factor between stakee/staker ect. Bc it's just so difficult to verify hours played, wins, losses ect. By no means am I saying I would falsify anything, only that I would have those reservations if I were staking someone and so would expect/understand those same concerns towards myself.

Had planned to get an update on here but just not gonna find the time tonight; gotta get out early tomorrow bc I'm checking into a room at GN to make things easier for the back to back events I'll be playing there tomorrow and Thursday. Tomorrow's tournament is PLO which I enjoy but is not my strongest game...obviously I feel I have a perceived edge vs the expected field or I wouldn't be playing it but I'm very lacking in experience so will need more than usual concentration and hopefully a little luck. As improbable as it may seem I think I could go deep in at least 2 of the 3 events on the schedule for this week if I can play at the level I did in this most recent one. Do the GN events have a pretty good turnout on average for their series?

Tbo this mtt thing is new to me so I couldn't say...they have a pretty loyal following on their Dailey/monthly mtts though and I enjoy their mtt room ect. I would not expect huge turnouts but feel the events hold good value. I know they have had some overlays but I haven't had a chance to get in on them. What I feel I'll edge the field in fundamentals will be largely lost to my lack of PLO experience...I'm completely unfamiliar with the feel/pace of a PLO mtt so my normally well composed and premeditated gameplan will be totally on the fly haha.

Ugh...crushed the 6max with ease running up a huge stack before getting my legs chopped out KK < 66...still made a deep 9 hour run before busting short of the $ with Q9dd vs pair on 6-7-8 2d flop...no love on the massive draw. Dissapointing for sure as I felt I'd be the favorite to pretty much win this event but I'm playing solid and focused and will be throwing everything I've got at the monster stack this weekend.

Busto. Flush loses to trips on river boat, then AJ loses to KJ river K. Both all in for tons before rivers. Pretty dam frustrated having easily outplayed everyone and running up big stacks deepish in both this and the 6max to get crushed with a run bad hammer.

Been too slammed for an update but I'm gonna get some pics up on here and what I've been up to. Too much content though so this will be some previous stuff then the most recent things will be tossed in with the rest of this weekend's action.

So first up, it's funny that with cash taking a backseat to the mtts this summer I've been just crushing any cash game I sit into including some big 2-5 action. I'm up a few thousand just in the last few weeks but tbo my heads all weird from the tournaments. I get so self-invested in each tournament that my satisfaction seems entirely dependent on going deep in those and the cash just seems like going through the motions.

1-2 action...reallly haven't been motivated at 1-2/1-3, in fact this session I was there 2 hours but mostly just walking around/eating/ect so only played maybe less than an hour, every time I sat in was just easy $. I suck.


Got in this crazy 2-5 game at Caesars with loads of $ on the table...a few of the guys were booking wild side bets and sometimes we would agree to stop the game so they could run blind omaha flips for $500 a pop. I even got in on the action which I never do for a whopping $10 bucks that I won by calling a players exact hand (got 10:1 on a dollar haha) I did well but could have had a massive night if I wasn't both thinking about mtts as well as needing to go early to get sleep for one.



The MSPT was the first mtt for me this summer where it was just a combination of early card dead/run bad AND a solid skilled table that made it difficult to overcome that. I actually never got above starting stack then lost a good deal with KK raising utg +1 pretty large...SB, BB, and UTG all call and then check a 7c-9-c-4h flop so I c-bet a significant portion of what I have left; SB jams, BB rejams...I fold and they have flush draw and 7-9, flush hits. I was already below starting before that hand and then did'nt recover from the cripple so was out in the first few lvls. I would have liked to have seen 1 hour levels considering the normal V $1100s have them.



Next up was the Milly Maker...I started off well and was playing solid and running up a stack. I proceeded to lose a few hands in unfortunate run outs ect and afterwards played what I would consider the worst I've played a tournament since I started seriously approaching these back in November can ultimately busted out. While I can't say for sure what would have happened if I had stayed solid, I do know that with the early momentum I had and my edge in the field it was pretty inexcusable to not make Day 2 barring a really nasty K.O.




I directed my disappointment from that Mill bustout to the next one up, the '100k maker' 500k gtd at Planet Hollywood. I came into this one determined to play absolutely perfect and exceeded that by playing what I would consider the best I have played in a tournament yet; I threw the whole damn playback at this one bringing out every single unorthodox thing I have been working on/tweaking. Pretty much crushed throughout until deep at about 30 people remaining. I did a fairly standard b v b shove with A9s with 575k at I think 15-30k blinds with a 3000 or 5000 ante from the sb since the bb only had 345k behind and had been playing pretty snug. Unfortunately he woke up with 1010 and faded. After that hand I was among the shorter stacks all the way until final 20 at which time I was among the shortest 3 stacks until getting it in good and running it up around 18th place. I ended up in pretty good shape and with 15 players remaining a big stack opened in EP and I jammed from SB with AhQh expecting a flip but with some degree of fold equity. He had 99 and I missed for a pot that would have put me above average and likely cruise control to FT where there was some pretty sweet $. I was happy to have played well though bouncing back from the Milly disappointment.










My diet has gone to #$%T and I need to fix it from here out before it impacts my game...but here's some of the nice junk I've been packing in

Prosciutto panini from the food court at Flamingo. I had low expectations on this one but they pulled out a huge hunk of actual imported prosciutto and sliced it on a deli grinder then slapped on some decent mozzarella and balsamic...I was pleasantly surprised.


A lot of people grill me for not ever gambling...so here is undeniable proof that that simply is not true. I put $20 on this machine and played 2 50cent VBJ hands winning both but becoming angry when the machine had no option to double down on the second hand and rage quitting.

I've been wanting this watch a long time but am too cheap; Got some life run-good and convinced a guy to sell me his for $100...not sure if stolen or if he's hard up but the thing is pretty like-new condition.

I guess that's all for now since I need to do a whole nother update for the more recent stuff. Tomorrow I have 2 bullets to another 500k at PHo and I'm hoping to play great and try to go deeper than the previous one so hopefully that will make it in to next update.

Reminds me of a couple days ago when I was on my way to work, and here comes this Lambo Murcielago down southbound 880, which is notorious for multiple accidents every day. You would have to be either crazy or really FU FU rich enough not to care to do that on that road.

With NCJ being K.O. it looks like I'm just gonna bail on Rio and hit the gym+spa tonight then sleep early; Trying to get super dialed in for tomorrow's mtts.
