PA, you seem like a nice dude and I respect the fact that you play poker for a living. I even think your paintings are actually pretty cool.

But vlogging is really not for you. You speak in a slow monotone, have terrible camera work and the videos are just not enjoyable to watch. I love everything Vegas especially about poker rooms but even I can't get myself to watch your poker room reviews which involves one shot of you on top of a garage reading off a list in monotone.

Sorry, just telling it like it is.

I feel really bad for Joan. I'm glad she only "won" $21k as opposed to the first place "prize" of $133k. I'd love to hear our fearless leader Trooper97 speak out on this. I'm sure he is as devastated as anyone.

Why do you think this is necessary?

Unfortunately the same feeling, the voice I just can't get past and the heavy metal music.

Hey thanks for complimenting my art.

I totally agreed with you, valid criticism. I realize my verbal skills are sub par, I've been going to bi-monthly toastmasters meetings to improve my speaking. Yes my camera work and editing is not super tight yet, gunna take more practice. I just invested in a new camera so the shots should come out a little better. I completely agree my rookie efforts at poker room reviews are pretty ****ty but I promise to work on improving with each attempt.

I don't know if you've seen my most recent poker room reviews of Aria and Bellagio, I did incorporate a few tricks like slow mo, time lapse, and got some cool footage of the Bellagio fountains from 550 ft. If you don't like my videos and don't wish to watch that is absolutely your prerogative. I have a 9 to 1 ratio on likes to dislikes so I think that is some sort of indication that I am providing value to some people but I realize not everyone will dig it.

Just because someone eats **** the first few times they ride a bike or snowboard doesn't mean "it's not for them" they just need to learn and improve, that's my plan with producing vids.

No apology necessary, I appreciate the feedback.

Did he get the same ****ty back massage gift as PokerKraut? Casino must use excess retail inventory for their player rewards.

Oh yeah towards the ends.. Shots fired

Who plays in middle of the day at Horshoe Indiana? Can't imagine that is sustainable

I laughed my ass off uncontrollably for like 2 minutes after seeing the title of Pure's latest video. Just thought I would share since we are all being honest about things now. And to be clear, I wasn't laughing at him, I was laughing with him. It was uncontrollable, and as such I had no control over it. I'm not even saying it was funny. The video certainly wasn't, but the title had me rolling.

Very pleased to see my predictions for Trooper are already coming true. Destroy those staked Bellagio nits Trooper! You got this!

It was kind of exciting to see Troop move up in stakes.

Was it me or did Troop seem kind of anxious going into the game? No Bueno

This is quite a normal human emotional response when moving up in stakes. I know it's easier for some to overcome the mental anxiety faster than others, but it is a legit mental game battle that most everyone will battle to one extent or another when they are playing for income.

Apparently this is not the case, stopped in today and was denied. Diamond+local ID. They said its "invitation only", maybe it takes time to update the system as I have only just recently made diamond.

Being a Diamond may not even be a requirement. Make sure you have a local mailing address and an email address on file with them.

Be sure to accrue Tier Credits in the month (or two) prior to the monthly mailer going out. If you get on the list you'll be notified by either a booklet in the mail, an email, or both which will arrive the last week of the month for the next month's offers.

I found that when I took months off from playing, the gift offer and booklet would be rescinded until I resumed earning TC in the prior month, despite being Diamond.

Dude's been killing it in that game for years. As said in the vid it plays much bigger. $300 max buy, straddle from anywhere, to however much you want, top off to the size of table's biggest stack (or somewhere close).

I followed his PG&C thread a few years ago where he made $30k in a year playing part-time hours.

The situation with the PPC is really terrible. It's going to be a real black eye for the poker community and a real boon for anti-poker legislatures.

Yea I checked all that and I'm good. I play Caesers 2/5 daily, and had $25k coin in on VP last month

Classy reply.

I suggest you post some videos of Vegas sights and sounds, with less of you talking. Things like casino walk-throughs, strip and downtown scenes of specific dates. Label your videos descriptively with the word 'Vegas' in it and you'll get more hits. If your camera shoots 4K then shoot and upload it in 4K and put that in the title. Again, more hits.

Make sure the camera work is done well - stability is important when shooting such videos. Try to capture the excitement of being in Vegas.

Personally I like to hear about interesting poker hands as well but not sure how that would fit in.

It's actually funny because most people would not consider making $40K/year "a good living". Even more so because playing poker with a GOAL of making $40K/year is totally different from a job that makes a guaranteed $40K/year.

$40k can be a very good living if you have low expenses. That being said, he has other sources of income aside from what he makes at the poker table.

It's not so much about his personal situation but rather his mocking reaction to Neeme's statement that you "can't make a good living playing 1/2" and then sets a GOAL of $40K playing 1/2 basically full time. And by all accounts he's a solid winning player.

And I still disagree that most people would say $40K/year is "very good living." Decent maybe, but certainly not good.
