I haven't watch the vlog yet that people are talking about, but stopping the negativity you speak on needs to start with trooper first. Does trooper get a pass just because he films vlogs? Trooper has no problem telling people what bothers him about life and people.

It is kind of stupid that the other thread was closed for too much trash talk when clearly this one is headed in a similar direction. Although, I will provide my opinion and take on things.

For one thing, I am not a huge fan of Trooper but he debatably pioneered poker vlogging similarly to how JCarver pioneered poker twitch streaming. So he definitely deserves respect in that sense. What I have seen transpire with the wave of new poker vloggers reminds me of what occurred on twitch. At one point, Jaime Staples was dominating viewership (when JCarver wasn't streaming) but he eventually lost it to Tonka and Doug Polk because they were playing and beating higher stakes and had more interesting content. This has also occurred with the appearance of Andrew Neeme because he is likeable and beating higher stakes in a professional manner.

Two other things that I have noticed include an overlap in content (Trooper and Neeme having similar intros at times, as well as the way vloggers are visually displaying hand histories now) and a real complacency in terms of live players having a blase attitude in terms of playing lower stakes because it's easier or more convenient.

I'll give a quick review of the poker vlogging content that I have watched.

Trooper - Entetaining in the sense that he's very blunt but debatably unprofessional, inconsistent and spewy. Very mundane routine and should seriously look into some type of Starbucks sponsoring with all the free promotion he does. I have noticed that when he is playing he always has his next barrel that he is going to fire in his hand and I don't know if that's not always the case but I will note that as a tell.

Andrew Neeme - Love the production value and variety so far. Also love that he plays higher stakes and breaks things down very rationally and has a professional outlook. Very likeable guy which is important for this industry. Always looking forward to his videos and like that he is playing in Cali a bit too.

Jake Cody - He is probably the best poker player currently vlogging so that's a huge selling point because viewers can probably learn the most from him. Also he vlogs while in the U.K. as well as a bit in Florida so far so that's cool to see. Also very likeable and cheeky at times.

Wheydacheese - Probably has the most interesting vegas life and has good hand history breakdowns. Sometimes he holds the camera too close to his face when he vlogs but otherwise can clearly see that he puts a lot of work into the videos. I followed his thread and always wondered why he never really challenged himself to play higher stakes when I think he's severely overrolled for the games he plays (not a bad thing). Otherwise what I would expect out of a live Vegas professional.

Tappan - Have not watched as much of his content but from what I have watched he definitely has an interesting vocabulary and sense of humour. Sometimes seems like he can be a bit hard on himself but that's definitely not the worst thing when it comes to improvement. He's admitted that he's a bit nitty so will he interesting to see how he adapts more.

I think 15-20 minutes is the perfect amount of time for a video and I appreciate the work the vloggers are putting in and keep it up!

How many breaks has he had so far?

Also you better work on your table image, Trooper studies his opponents religiously. Start reverse bluffing and remember to triple merge your ranges.

funny how there are 10x as many comments when trooper has a losing day. and they all act like they have never played a hand bad before! trooper vlog is the best and most suspenseful. he is the only vlogger who would keep vlogging after he goes broke. he knows a lot of people watch and root for him to go broke. they are doing exactly what he wants them to do, giving him views!

I think more people are rooting for him to win. That 100 hour challenge had a lot of people proud to root for him. You're basically saying trooper is only interesting because he will go broke? What a fan you are. Andrew has like 5000 more subscribers, and has more skills as a vlogger. I see him transiting into other things without having to go broke.

Lets get real. Trooper view count is very LOW. I keep hearing about his following. Trooper is in the bottom 5% of youtubers that have been at this for over 2 years. Dude, isn't even making minimum wage off youtube.

Nope. Trooper is most negative person I have seen. He doesn't even like to be around people. That is the guy you're telling people to stay positive about?

Poker is a battle and the Trooper doesn't take prisoners. All your chips will soon belong to the Trooper. Say goodbye to your win streak.

Phone died. Troop came back after 4th missed blinds with Starbucks refill and good to go. Our boy up +$265 after a guy punted J9 into his AA on 894 flop. Yours truly has improved to -$70

He came in about 20 min got aces, went out for more coffee for 4 orbits, came back got aces. Something happened when I went to bathroom he's down to +$115. Seems kinda looser/potentially steamed.
