In Troopers latest vlog where the 46 year old is laying on the floor amongst his strewn about clothes contemplating donuts, I have never in my life been more jealous.

You are finally seeing the real trooper. Usually takes most less time to see, but sure enough eventually the fans turn on him.

He completely overlooks the fact that it’s a complete mess. Good luck trying to convince a woman to move in and throw her clothes on the floor next to his. He just needs to tell her the floor is clean.

He was laying there between 4 and 5 minutes.

I criticized him for even pointing the camera in the direction showing the clothes on the floor. Then he gives his viewers a much closer shot of those clothes and tries to say it’s perfectly fine.

Trooper has done that before. Said he would ignore the haters, then goes on about his haters and takes shots at them.

I'm not turning on him, LOL. I can still follow his vlog without agreeing with everything he says/does.

It was clearly a "do as I say not as I do" moment for him, though.

I think Trooper's big issue with poker is he plays big preflop hands for value POST FLOP. I think he comes alive and pushes with AA, KK, QQ even when the flop tells you that they're in trouble. I think he also does not 3! or 4! with them pre. Just my opinion.

Maybe so, because from what he's shown, he doesn't play loose preflop, so it doesn't seem like he plays too many hands.

One of his big leaks is calling raises with offsuit aces even when he is OOP. One of the frustrating things about rooting for him is he thinks he knows what he is doing but actually is really confused, doesn’t work on his game, and doesn’t want help.

It’s a vlog that shows how a player doesn’t advance up from 1-2. There are plenty of great 2-5 games in Vegas this weekend and I doubt the idea of playing 2-5 even crosses his mind.

To be fair, there are a bunch of 1-2 regulars that have similar issues. But it’s amazing to me that he posted here and had so many supportive fans willing to help him, and never took advantage of that, even though he complained in video after video about losing.

Sure I can, as long as they are reasonable and make at least some sense. I just take issue when people:

1. Hate for the sake of hating
2. Crucify Trooper for something, see another vlogger do it and praise that guy for it.

Out of curiosity, what is it that PK does that makes you strongly dislike him that Trooper doesn't do? Do you feel like you are doing number 2 above, but reversed for PokerKraut?

It's easy to not pay too much attention to what Trooper is saying.

I think he thinks he's funnier than he is. A pet peeve of mine is someone who laughs at his own jokes, especially when they aren't funny. His accent annoys the hell out of me and he made way too much out of Trooper being late to the weight loss challenge which generically fueled the fire for the haters. He took that and tried to turn the haters into viewers of his vlog by taking shots at Trooper.

He wasn't anyone, and still really isn't, until

I also remember what a stand up guy everyone made him out to be when he got the job driving for Uber, but when Trooper had to start dealing it was because he was a failure. I know that isn't PK's fault, but still......

So when trooper talks to mannequins, that is hilarious to you? Or what about when he says "theres nobody there"? DO you need to pause it while you finish roflmaoing?

Also I am pretty sure most of us thought trooper getting a dealing job was a great idea. I dont understand why he cant pad his bankroll working some shifts. Its a bit of stable income for a change.

Dealing and even Uber is more +ev at their respected levels of YouTube earnings. People actually supported Trooper a lot more when he was dealing. If you ever sat in on those games at the Linq, he was making 2:1 - 3:1 in tips over the other dealers, not to mention all of the random donations & gifts in passing from vlog watchers.

The only criticism he was getting was down playing the job as a hindrance to his growth, as it "kept him from hours of editing the vlog" "and hours away from playing poker". In actually it was a good thing, slowing down the almost weekly -$700+ sessions 3+ years and counting. Plus, the job is what got him approved for the apartment, as you can't rent there without verifiable income of your gross earnings being 3x the rent, or by proving bank statements proving 6+ months of 3x the rent amount. Resigning the lease was a no-brainer as he's obviously covering the bills, and there really would be no benefit of moving to another apartment when he barely uses the amenities of his own.

When he makes good decisions he often gets the support of even his deepest critics.

Edit: A trooper fan once got there on the river in a 3 way pot with me and another player where we both flopped a straight and he rivered a full house. He pulled a ~$260ish pot, tipped Tim $50, racked up and left.

If that's not telling, I don't know what is. On the other hand, the Linq room closed shortly after Trooper left, so he would have been in the same boat as PK, looking for a dealer job for a couple months during the slow season.

1. No, I don't think it's exceptionally funny, but he doesn't laugh on camera about it either. It's part of his schtick so I take it for face value.

2. Maybe his bankroll doesn't need padding? I'm not sure why everyone worries so much about his losses at the table when he's the only one that knows if he's getting the bills paid or not.

If he is paying the bills then I think it's just jealousy on everyone's part that he lives in Vegas, plays poker and hangs out on the strip without a 9-5 grind. You know, the life most here can only dream about (that includes me). If he goes bust then I'm sure we will all know about it and the haters can rejoice.

Everyone seems worried about his bankroll, except him.

When Trooper had to start dealing he had just lost his entire $8k bankroll because he quit his job and tried to go pro and lost big in the games. He basically just kept losing until he went broke. Did PK get that Uber job because he failed as a pro?

As for PK, he actually defended Trooper at first. He said he gave Trooper a pass for being 45 minutes late and for not paying up after he lost. It was only when Trooper tried to say that PK didn’t invite him to the vloggers game when he decided he finally had enough.

Trooper was the one that really overreacted when PK complained about him being late. And why be so late in the first place? It is very disrespectful.

If he was nitting it up he wouldn’t lose $1k in his sessions as often as he does.
