I haven't decided if I'm going to vlog or blog the move in LVL. I'm tied to a CPU for work the majority of the week so it wouldn't be hard to vlog it, just very time consuming. I'll most likely make an LVL real time trip report when I'm back there in about 2 weeks.
It baffles me that more people can't be objective without being irrational. While mrducks can be a bit over critical, I feel he always makes a lot of rock solid points based in fact and logic. I enjoy this circus of a thread more than most vlogs TBH. For the better part of a year I've only watched Boski and Neeme unless there's banter of a must see vlog from one of the others.
Peace!
That's very true. I used to be a Trooper fan and wanted to see him succeed because I succeeded in a similar way and wanted to see a real life vlog where someone
documents themselves going thru the path that I went thru.
I wanted a public story that proves that it is possible to pick an unconventional lifestyle (poker) and find success when most people don't believe it is possible or doable.
Then Trooper went off the deep end, did everything stupid that one could do (almost), and just made poker players look like idiot/buffoons. That pissed me off. Then he kept doubling down on doing rude things, saying offensive things against lots of different groups, and attacking good people like PokerKraut. All the while blaming everyone else in the world and never himself.
He pretty much showed the
WORST side of the poker player stereotype. So I started to dislike him and hoped that he would fail to the point of ending his vlog and having people forget about him "representing" poker players.
Then Neeme came along and really showed the positive side of the poker community.
That's why I'm probably so critical of Trooper. Looking at him objectively, this diet thing could really be a HUGE milestone in his recent life. It's really a win-win for him. If the diet catches on with mainstream Youtube, his channel could start growing again and maybe even hit 50K or more (this is huge for him after his growth STOPPED COMPLETELY.)
If the channel doesn't grow, then he's just much healthier and lives a better and probably longer life.
So even though he is only 4 days in, I really hope he keeps this going, gets down to 165-175lbs, and just becomes a more positive and happy person. It's a long shot, but maybe this is the beginning of something great for Tim Watts.
God speed Timmy!
