So why do you guys seem to be such pussies when it comes to people showing their true personality in their vlogs? IMO it makes for a fascinating mix. Watch the personalities you like to root them on and watch(or novel concept..... DON'T WATCH) the ones that you don't like for the car crash effect. There really is something for everyone who enjoys watching poker vlogs.

Bunch of tissue paper feelings ITT.

Was talking about who would win best vlogging award and its relevance to the growth of the game.

NOT whether anyone should “watch”a particular vlog or not. Who gives a **** whether you or I prefer one vlog over another.

Point was whether professionalism meant anything in getting the award.

Relax Skippy you will be ok.

I know I'll be ok. The question is, next time Trooper "has a moment" will you be ok?

Tired of the pretty boy vloggers.

Let's have an award for most money won & loss.

Doug Polk only has 20 videos in the vlog section of his playlist and it was almost all videos during the WSOP.

If the award goes to “person with the best YouTube videos who has done some vlogging” then Andrew has no shot.

Is it really gonna be like an acadamy awards ceremony or just a bunch of people sitting around a conference table with starbucks coffees and note pads

I was thinking a bunch of Beats by Dre headphones, guys watching GoT and anime on their iPads, sunglasses, and hoodies.

Will this be online anywhere.

If anyone argues that Boski or Trooper should win over Neeme, you are either delusional or just a hater. Yes, I have been called a hater and now I'm calling others haters. Anyway, Neeme clearly puts out the far superior product and him being too "professional" or "clean" isn't an argument against him. It further promotes his value.

Trooper is a quantity over quality vlog and is a "lifestyle" vlog instead of a poker vlog so he is clearly out of the running. Boski, while likeable except for his last few vlogs, is still a far inferior product based on quality to Neeme.

Negreneu only vlogged during the WSOP so he should be disqualified because he is seasonal and not a full time vlogger. The only competition to Neeme is Doug Polk, but he is focusing on cryptocurrency now and while I find some of his videos entertaining, it's more of a commentary versus a vlog of the daily life. This last part is my opinion as I prefer the life of Neeme vlogs over the Polk in a room talking funny stuff.

But seriously people...Trooper or Boski to win? Come on, man! Get real!

the Feather

I think Trooper and Pokerkraut are still friends.
I don't think that's the Feather unless he lost a lot of weight?

I will talk about the cheating, botting, high stakes collusion & possible superusing that I believe to currently be taking place on the Winning Poker Network aka America's Card Room. This is a poker site that I've talked about over and over and I do not feel comfortable recommending this poker site anymore.

I think the front runner to win top vlogger next year (after this year) is actually Jaman Burton. He has a real eye for putting together a video well. His recent trailer for his Vegas trip is actually pretty impressive.

I would not be surprised if I saw one of his videos on Neeme's channel or a channel of a professional vlogger (Neistat, etc.) because the quality is on par with those while still being unique in style. While it's not prefect, he definitely shows a talent for making videos and keeping them entertaining.

I would definitely recommend for Trooper (who has great video editing skills) to consider making videos not so often and increase the quality of his content to compete with Jaman and Neeme.

He's not smart enough to compete on actual poker content and he's to poor to go to too many interesting places, so he is limited in how much quality he can put out. He might be better off trying to create even more volume.

Trooper won't do that because short term it makes a bit more money spamming videos every day than just 1 a week. Long term it has been horrific for him as his views per video go down and growth stopped...

Trooper videos were a lot better IMO when he did them 2-3 times a week. He often had results of more than 1 session and the videos were shorter, but he left out a lot of boring stuff he includes now. I remember him also being funny instead of boring (hard to keep being funny when you make a video every single day). It would also be easier to come up with interesting poker content when he plays more than 1 session in those 2-3 days.

There have been too many videos of him starting the day at his place, then he drives somewhere, then he gets coffee at some point, he walks around, then he decides he doesn’t feel like playing so he goes home. He shouldn’t even be doing a video that only covers days like that.

Agree 100%. He needs to make some changes quick or it's going to be over. In a 5 day period he only added 41 subs. Boski only added 22. Neeme added 415, Brad added ~425, and Burton added the most at almost 500.

I think troop can be successful, but he needs some fresh ideas. His merchandise business feeds off his YouTube channel so he doesn't need to lose it

IMO Trooper seems like the vlogs are something he has to do to survive. Boski looks like he doesnt give a **** and will be fine with or without the vlog which makes watching far more enjoyable

Persona on these vids can be very misleading.

Played with Boski numerous times in tourneys at Wynn/Venetian. Major snowflake in real life. His most recent vids are on mark. Very whiny and always seems to have something ****ty to say to the opposition as he gets eliminated.

Trooper on the other hand is a lot more personable and sincere in person than he portrays on video.
