There only 10 man sit n gos I played one on Wed just before I played 1/3
If you play easy ABC poker you should easily be profitable in these you only need to win 15 to 20 percent of the games to come out on top of the summer.

I’ve always been able to sell them at face value.

Also, there are a lot of players worse than Trooper, and they won’t make as many big mistakes against him either with the shorter stacks.
Didn't know anybody alluded to it being different for anyone else.

I thought they were being facetious... At least partly, anyway.

I don't doubt there are, but if there are lots of players worse than him, they're probably going to make more mistakes than him. That's a good thing, is it not?

I'd imagine, that given all the variables, when he is playing ~100b, that's going to be worse for him than playing STTs.

Troop seems to get married to one pair for his stack. Which, in a deep cash game, is often terrible. But, in short stacked sngs... it's ok. He likes to use aggression in really weird spots, which can be good in SNGs if you just memorize some hand charts.

I think SNGs are still considered to be the easiest format to have a sound strat? Not necessarily world class strat... but at least passable.

You could be right. I’ve seen enough people say he should play 2-5 so I assumed this was similar talk but idk. I’ve also seen similar comments saying he should play limit with similar reasoning (some think limit is easier than NL but it would be tougher than they think).

My point was he has a bigger edge over those people in cash games. And even many of the 1-2 NL regs that are better than him are unlikely to have much of an edge over him, except for the times he is on massive tilt and constantly spewing.

Just watched PK's latest. How much did 'the boss' win at the end on that buffalo machine she plays?

To mitsi and plickity;

please don't let them in on things(reality and such). I am hoping to get some election bets off in 2020, like I did in '18.

Now, back to regular programing.

Heh heh. Maybe he needed a Starbucks refill. What were the blinds and what was his stack at?

I rarely play poker anymore, but even I know that the 'move up to where they respect your raises', is just a bad idea. I can't remember seeing many, if any, say that here.

I'd imagine limit is easier, if you've got solid fundamentals. Maybe it would be more suitable, as it's not as bad to hit and hold on, lol.

He probably does have a good edge over the bad players. However, it appears that he tilts very easily, and his attention span isn't much better than mine.

I am sure you are right! But what an accomplishment to put out a Vlog EVERY DAY! I put one out once a week and it is hard and time-consuming...I can't even imagine trying to do one every day!

Personally think it's down to his attitude and stagnation. He really hasn't progressed since last year and I don't think people are interested as much in watching groundhog's day. Since his vlog is more about vegas lifestyle rather than progressing up the stakes, I think the majority of those still watching regularly are those that envy the low limit grinder lifestyle rather than trying to actually get better at poker.

I envy that he can eat that much junk, and not look like a house, lol.

I watch most of them, bar mailtimes. Pick up the odd interesting dining spot, and get all Starbucks locations down, too

Hopefully he'll do another road trip, as those were some of his best vlogs.

Probably because he was walking around so much. But now with a booster board he's not doing that anymore so... It will get worse.

I can't, so envy that he can walk around so much as well

I thought he'd have put the weight back on already, given he was riding around so much. I'm guessing he still does a fair bit of walking, though.

Sometimes I need to move down to where they don't respect my raises so I get more action.

Limit is all about being fundamentally sound. There is not enough implied odds to get overly creative or try to muscle people out of pots.

The more I think about it, the more I'm probably better suited to playing those STTs

I used to like playing the limit game in the IP, but that was for the purpose of getting blind drunk.

Usually the comment I saw was his game is better suited for a higher level. He tries to outsmart people at 1-2 NL and I guess some people think he should play that way at 2-5. The other comment I saw a lot was he won at 2-5 before so he should play it again.

Even he seems to believe it sometimes.
