No. He initially said Patreon was for buying new equipment. He didn't promise anything exclusive at that time. Much later he had the idea of producing exclusive content for Patreon. However, he saw no uptick in donations after making that announcement. I think most of us were waiting for more details which never came.
BTW, it was $2/month for exclusive videos and $5/month to get a piece of Trooper in a tournament. The latter was an absolutely terrible idea.
If he did this then I think it'd be worth $10 to $20/month easy. Actually, I think I'm on to something here. If Trooper really wants to become a YouTube star he needs to embrace his role as a heel (ie despised character). He could blow up real big and I'm not talkin' about his belly or his inflatable couch.

Me and a producer friend were once set up for a hidden camera prank at the miracle mile shops by a co-worker. We were approached by a fake she/he who pressured us into going to party with her and flashed a fake bulge under her Fanny pack while we stuttered and stammered.
After the reveal we all had a great laugh and the bit aired on a Japanese TV show. We even let the guy who set us up keep a copy for his memories.
Some people just have no sense of humor and are either constantly on the attack or defending themselves from perceived attacks.
I didn't even notice if he had that option up. Based on what I saw he's going to have a hell of a poker chip collection before too long. Someone did send him a couple of c-notes he seemed pretty uncomfortable about getting.

While production value solid for being 1 guy with 1 point and shoot camera and self-taught so credit deserved there. The irony and unintentional comedy in the clip's script and shot selection though is just awesome. It may be the third funniest thing I've watched this summer behind Kraut trolling him and The Doug Polk/Vanessa Selbst hand history swap
