I would skip Caesar's Palace too.

I played there last week with a drunk Korean actress that kept pulling out $1,000 chips.

Troop doesn't want to soil his hands with celebrity cash.

But for a semi serious player with a lifestyle vlog...

Wait it still sucks

I think he should step down to Palace Station or Boulder Station before hitting up Sam's Town. He doesn't want to run out of poker rooms in Vegas too soon.

Where does Stratosphere rank on these lists of horrible rooms?

He really took a nose dive since the haunted house vlog to be honest, and not just in terms of winning money in poker. His vlogs have gotten even more horrible as well. Prior to the haunted house, he had the operation uptick success at 2/5 (followed by a Tuesday night collapse at 5/10) and then FINALLY did a roadtrip to other poker rooms across the US.

This was a big step forward for his vlog because he was stepping outside of his 1/2 and his "Vegas only" comfort zone. The vlogs got a little better.

Then the haunted house happened and he made his tail between his legs, mad dash home for the start of the WSOP, missed his release date for TrooperWear, and then didn't even make any cool vlogs at the WSOP, which is the biggest event in the poker world that happens to be going on in his backyard. Plus collusion gate happens and his subscribers total completely flat lines caused by multiple days of negative net subscriber totals.

So maybe it really isn't Trooper's fault at all. Maybe he is a victim of the haunted house. But wait, he's not superstitious so that couldn't be it.

There is nothing wrong with pooper not playing the main if he's not even close to being rolled for it. Just be like hey guys, I'm "grinding" 1/2 and entering a $10,000 lottery probably isn't the best idea. He'd probably get a bunch of donations if he was just upfront about it. No shame in it. How many underemployed people have 10k to fire in a tournament?
But ya, given his field of "work" he should have been figuring out a way to get in the main 6 months ago. Who knows what kind of luck box deal he could have fell into.

Avoiding the main event is one thing. But he didn't play in ANY event besides that heads up tournament at Golden Nugget. Didn't play a single 2-5 session during the WSOP either.

+1. Played at Flamingo during my summertrip to Vegas, and i like most poker rooms in Vegas but come on. So insanely slow dealers+ freaking 10 handed at 1-2. Also they dont even have proper plastic playing cards, so the cards get bended and in bad condition pretty quickly.Wtf!

Yea. I mean you would think he'd try and capitalize on the wsop a little bit, but he's a great business man and is always working on things for 12 hours a day, so he doesn't need any help.

Didn't expect Andrew to have one out yet. But he does. Negreanu with one too.

Andrew is a freaking beast. The consistent quality he manages to have when shipping out videoes at the frequenzy he have done this summer is a massive achievement in my opinion.

Guy is a legend already.

If he wanted to play the main event he would and he would be great at it and go very deep and win a ton of cash.

But he just doesn't want to.

Also LOL at he wasn't invited

Surprised Trooper didn't submit a video to Negreanu to get into the main.

He might have submitted one, for all we know. But regardless, Negreanu would not have chosen Trooper. It's pretty clear, given Negreanu's choices of contestants, that he wanted to make the "socially appropriate" choices and pick the "good guy." Not saying I think they were bad, but clearly some publicity-minded choices in the mix.

Did Daniel announce who won and say their name, etc.? I haven't watched lately.

Neeme ratio of thumbs up to thumbs down is unparelled not only for poker vloggers, but I'm guessing nearly anyone with that many subscribers.

Also, I like these videos where he has to rush through hand analysis while on break. He tends to cut to the chase a bit more. Not that I don't enjoy his more thorough analysis or think it's worth listening to - he just tends to get a bit slower and sometimes more repetitive when doing his cash game hand recaps.

Ya. He chose 3 people, including a guy in a wheelchair with a medical disease that prevents him from moving his arms. The guy's dad has to lift his hole cards and toss in his chips for him. It's a good story. I hope he does well, and I'm sure everybody is rooting for him.

Every day is a gamble. Without risk, there would be no reward. TrooperWare is inspired by embracing the idea that the journey truly is the destination, and that the action is the juice. So be good to yourself, get up, and GO GAMBLE!

The guy is super likeable and indeed I bet everyone roots for him, but from the part that was shown in Daniel's vlog I have to think that the associated delay in speed of play and the need for the dealer to repeat things more than usual might get a bit old after a while. Funny to see the barstoolsports blogger at the same table sneak in the promo prop - well played. I think the barstool guy had a stack over 200K after the first day.

I'm hoping he had his Bieber backpack on the trip, J cracks me up anytime i've seen him with that thing.

All three made Day 2, as well.

I read that Daniel gets 50% of their winnings, if any cash.

Is that true, or a level? I thought all 3 would get 100% of whatever they won..
