Yup at this point he's relying entirely on just living as cheaply as is humanly possible, that's the one thing he has seemed to master. Wouldn't be surprised if this year he plays well under 2k hours.

Also what's with that outro of him at the table with the guy asking for a water. I can only assume he uses that footage because that's like the one and only time he actually had a bunch of chips on the table and he thinks it's impressive or something?

I also find it pretty funny how he talks about groceries, like "i own the milk and the eggs" lol. People own a car or a house, not peanutbutter or tomatoes good god.

The way he obsessively dives into the smallest of details and find it vlogworthy is still astonishing.

It's sad but the less a person owns the more importance they place on what they do own. Everything ElD owns is in his car, he carts it all around from place to place with him.

Have you ever seen a hobo with a bindle, they have everything they own in the world in that thing and they assume that everyone wants to steal it from them. While in reality nothing could be further from the truth.

There is NVG thread now about the Rampage thing I posted about.

When T collects money from investors for a bogus investment at least he uses a staking site.

Is there more context to this? I know that games run off-stream often. Was Dustin already down a bunch of money that Rampage won from him and Rampage loaned him more to keep him in the game?

There have been multiple scammers on HCL. I like the content, but I hate to see stuff like this and it makes it hard to watch sometimes.

I had never heard of the guy before yesterday. Some say it was presented as an investment and not a loan.

He looks familiar, so I've likely seen him on stream once or twice.

If it was an investment, then yikes. This guys social media screams of a scam.

Has anyone watched Lady Trooper's vlogs?

Any time they are in the house, she only shows his forehead and below

It is pretty hilarious what lengths he goes to not show his hairline

Watched just a couple of her vlogs because i am curious. There is something weird about her appearance like another poster mentioned. Cant really put my finger on it,some weird energy, something reserved about her smile/laugh.

Why would anyone (who isn’t a rube) watch that?

Not a surprise to learn that Tim’s hairline is fading him too.

Usually, when you get a sense of strangeness out of people, it's because their outward expression doesn't match their inner dialogue. Most of communication is non-verbal.

I've seen the comments on a few of LTs vlogs. If they were to ever split, a huge amount of Troops would be lined up at her feet, flooding her DMs trying to replace their hero. Very cringe & simpy comment section, which is the bar for any female content creator.

Seems like that yeah. Its like she inside is really nervous/uncomfortable being on camera, and then cant cover that up and it gets out with this weird energy and unauthentic smile/laugh.

If you remember, Trooper kept her off camera for several months in the beginning, probably her wishes, showing only a distant shot of them at the gun range one time.

A fun fact, or not, before Trooper stated dating her I followed her on Instagram. She had a whole account of herself she was trying to launch. I can't remember the name, but its since gone/and/or tranfored into whatever she uses now. I THINK it was "Marie in Vegas" or something like that. But she'd post pictures at the gun range right when Trooper did, so before he even featured her I thought "okay these 2 are together". Her insta account was just about Vegas stuff in general, casinos, etc.

Not that it matters, but it seemed liked she was in general a loser in life just trying to grow some following.

Did it say her name was Marie or was Christina on there?

Almost certain it was Marie or Maria or Marina in Vegas. I only remember because when she was then introduced as Christina I thought "okay one of the 2 is lying".
But she posted videos/ photos at the gun range the exact same day as Trooper way back when she was anonymous on his channel so it's speculation.

Even worse for rampage cause investments are never guaranteed. He would have even less recourse than if it was just an illegal shark loan.

As squid face said, el diesel doesnt put in the major volume like he pretends, his best year besides last year was 2,077 hours i believe, and he passed it lsat year but he also pretended in one of his first vlogs that he was going to play 3k hours or something, that was his projection given his projected income. Playing live poker that much is brutal, doing it for 14 an hour is even more brutal. The goal in your first year of playing poker in my opinion would be to learn as much as you can so that you dont have to play 1-2 or 2-5 at all, you have to get up to where the rake doenst eat you up, whether thats high stakes online or time raked games live. Its very hard to win a lot when youre paying 15bb/100 online or 4bbs on a single pot at live 1-2 between bad beat jackpot, tip, rake. It really adds up quickly.

Very surprised rampage would be scammed like that, its truly an idiot tax that he is paying, i hope he learns his lesson with that one. Thats akin to joining an MLM scheme as a junior in high school like that vemma verve drink that was popular for a minute where they let kids drive bmws
Right I mentioned on here a few times if I was gonna tell a young kid trying to be a pro what to do I'd say grind like crazy the first year.
The extra money compounds. The problem with 1/3 nl is your life expenses eat up so much of your profit you need to get to 2/5 at least asap. So grinding an absurd amount of hours early only pays for itself exponentially in the future.

I'm not surprised by rampage getting scammed. When people especially young people come into a ton of money quick they tend to do really stupid things with it.

Lol@trooper.

I mean if he wants to play with a new group of tablemates, he can just table change in the same room. Of course the real reason why he room changes if to stay under the radar as much as possible as his nitty OMC style of play is so easy to recognize and even recs will stop paying him off.
He tends to play at 2-3 tables then change rooms.
He has exactly zero skil as a poker player. There are days he's gone to 5 casinos and probably played at 15 different tables bum hunting all to make 14 an hour. I mean if he was making 50 an hour doing it id understand all the table hopping but all of that jumping around to make min wage is nuts. Either improve or find something else to do.

He's a perfect example of someone who would be way better off if they were a lot better at poker or if they were worse at poker. Either make real money or quit.

Except he's not mastered it.

Yes he will save 97 cents on gas compared to the rest of us but then he will turn around and spend 300 dollars and 20 hours of his life to see 6 innings of a baseball game he has to leave early bc he won't pay for a hotel room (while paying way more than the ticket costs on the secondary market bc he needs a paper ticket) He will pay for private health insurance despite the fact that as a legal bum he can get great health insurance cheap/free through Obamacare bc despite he smugness he hasn't a clue how the subsidies actually work.

He has to save money 983 different ways over the course of the year just to offset how much he wastes by not spending and hour our two to actually understand how Obamacare works. I mean sure if you gave someone 32 dollars to last a month in Vegas or LA Diesel will somehow make it to the end of the month with 19 dollars left but then he'll punt tons of money in total fish spots.

He's the epitome of penny wise pound foolish.

I truly believe Lady Trooper (Christina) is in a 'Stockholm syndrome relationship'.
Whatever life she had, has been destroyed.
I feel genuinely bad for her.

On the other side, there's no shortage of late 40s-early 50s divorced single women in Vegas looking to settle with anyone who's nothing like their abusive ex.

Trooper doesn't drink, smoke cigarettes, the devils lettuce, or any illicit drugs. Combine that with being a business owner, casino poker game host, 50k Youtube subscribers that adore him, no felonies, and he's quite the catch on paper for the ladies around his age.

He's also legit funny in real-life conversations. It doesn't come through on his vlog, but he has the rapid-fire ability to take a real-life situation that's happening in the moment and tie it to a movie quote or music lyric. Quick-witted I guess you'd say.

The version of Trooper we get on camera is amped up and heightened by the poker play.
