According to Coach El Diesel, the Bally's new poker room has a livestream area. Curious, what their specific plans are for it. The range is wide: Hustler Casino copycat, 24/7 livestreams, low stakes only livestreams, players allowed to do their own live streams, daily tournament final table live streams...who knows. The range of possibilities is super wide for now.

Or maybe Coach El Diesel can livestream coaching sessions from that area? It would be great marketing for both the new pokerroom plus El Diesels coaching business.

Agree, except perhaps for the keeps putting out part. His upload schedule is so sparse of late that he's nearly off my radar. I mean - he hosted a MUG over a month ago, and no vlog could come of that by now?

Trooper has said this same thing as well. Diesel and Trooper seem to think preflop is the only street in holdem.

While I agree that it's better preflop to see how everyone reacts before you decide what to do, all that edge evaporates postflop. I mean you're talking three streets postflop where the bets get exponentially higher.

I've watched Trooper get destroyed in a whale game cause he sat to the direct right of the maniac. But ya, keep playing out of position vs a maniac postflop. I'll stick to keeping my decisions AFTER the maniac acts, thanks.

Have they still not caught the guy? Take a cab to a robbery and leave in same cab and they can't catch him with a million cameras on the strip.

I mean RDP hit it big in the Colossus (had to sell 50% of himself in a $400) then hit it huge with his vlog getting sponsorship and has just killed it ever since.

It a shame he hit it big so soon his vlog was really great in the early days with the grind with Mush....it just loses some entertainment when they all loaded.

If you think all teasers are sucker bets, I guess you've never heard of Wong Teasers.

Wong Teasers have been getting killed this year. You would be down a lot if you have been doing those in the NFL all season.

Fun fact that Wong is a white guy, but changed his name to Wong to give himself more Asian street math cred.

This is very frequently the outcome for graduates of all but the top ranked law schools OR those that graduate in the top 5% or so of their class.

If you are in the middle of the class, at a middle of the pack (or lower) law school...and you don't have some incredible skill or connection...you are very likely to face very bleak prospects.

A lot of attorneys make $40K a year or less. So if that is your fate, why not take a bit less $$$ and do your own thing? Far better to make $35K a year playing poker, moving around the country, talking & joking with people, than looking at papers & a computer screen ALL day (doing low level legal work) for $42K a year with minimal benefits.

Neither situation is good or ideal, but better to be your own boss for just a bit less money?
