One reason is he complains so much when he loses. It’s the 1-3 NL bad beats vlog. Naturally people feel for him and want to help out.

He was doing around 2 vlogs a week and posting here all the time when people first brought that up. He definitely had the time to at least post some hands and thoughts. Some major leaks could have easily been fixed. But of course he would discover that he doesn’t know as much as he thinks and that can be terrifying for some people.

And it doesn’t take a lot of time to learn how to beat the lowest stakes. Just learn some really basic easy stuff.

He could tighten up his PF range, fold to big bets on the river, stop slowplaying, and there you go, he improves dramatically. It takes a lot less time if you have no intention to move up in stakes either. Studying a PF chapter in a beginners book would fix some of his major leaks.

I dont see T's vlog as a poker vlog at all... it's a personal journey diary/vlog that happens to be pokercentric.

It's logical to think that Brad Owen would make similar money per 1k views since both have poker channels that are based in USA, targeting the same demographic.

If you are really interested, do the math. I have a feeling that you will be surprised.

Trooper invented the poker vlog! All the rest are just deviations off of his.

Youtube doesn't pay as much as it used to unless you get sponsors. It's better to have a patreon so your followers can support you on side.

Initially I liked following troop cause he seemed to have ambition. Finding out eventually he doesn't have any goals it made the vlog lame. Isn't whole point of a poker vlog to make a big score? What's point of following a guy who pretends to be a pro and just drinks starbucks every day. He's a poker pro but he doesn't even take a chance at WSOP donkaments lol then what is ****ing point?

I have a bad feeling that 2021 could be the breaking point!

The loss is a new loss at 'Trooper Thursday' Dec 31st, to end the year 2020.

I still think Trooper will get around to mentioning 'the' infamous Red Rock loss.

Why was I banned?
Why were my hilarious and insightful posts deleted?
I even gave Jack some great stock tips. You guys would be up big if you invested in them, but mods deleted it
Mods, you guys have just been making 2+2 into something way too politically correct and unfun...

And stu unger...the real Stu would be ashamed of your lack of fun and running from this thread, he was big into coke, and chicks and fun stuff like knockers and things too u know?

Anyhoo, glad to be back.

Latest Trooper Result:

Spoiler:

-248

2020: -7,808

Normally for the rest of his results i start a new year when the vlog comes out in the new year, but since he lost leave this and the rest of losing in 2020 where it belongs, hope he runs it back in 2021, this is a pretty normal swing for him to have 10k up and downswings but mostly stay even. Almost done doing all his results since moving to vegas, just havent felt like doing it much recently, but only a bit left.

Did he have a winning 2019 year? Unless he makes some significant changes in his game can’t see him having a winning 2021.

Did you add a -$1,000 to Trooper's tally for his Red Rock loss?

Where did you get that figure from? According to JackLVKing, Trooper was down $300 when Jack left, so he doesn't know how much Trooper lost that session. There's even an infinitesimal chance that Trooper came back and ended the session on the plus side (lol).

If it was "only $300" we would have seen a vlog about it now. He had a total meltdown that night. 4 figures for sure.

I would say there is a greater chance of it being a poor night than a great night, but no one knows for sure. I don't watch all of his vlogs and probably didn't watch any for a year or two prior to COVID, but I have never seen him play at Red Rock that I can remember, but could be totally wrong.

It may be possible that he goes and plays there and doesn't vlog about it. It is also possible that the poster in this thread misidentified the person he played with and said it was the Trooper, when it may not have been. I would assume they are correct, but who knows.

If -$7.8k for the year is correct, isn't this one of his worst years? I remember people were tracking his wins a while ago and he was a small winner in the games. I'm not going to go back and find the post but IIRC he was up about $20k over 3 years early in his vlogging career. I don't recall him ever losing so much on a consistent basis like recently.

I'll give Trooper the credit he deserves of being the pioneer of poker vlogs, but I haven't watched one of his for over a year. And that, only to see if anything changed. Nope, was still same boring repetitions. But hey, his dream was to go live in Vegas and he did it. I give him credit. Not hating on the guy. His vlogs have just been too boring to watch for years now.

Hmm, I'm wondering if Trooper's infamous Red Rock poker trip was a winning session, would Trooper have mentioned it in a Vlog of his ?

Is it possible The Trooper is faking his losses?

If he were a small consistent winner, it would make the vlogs unwatchable.

(Years ago, when I played live, I would win 80%+ of my sessions)
