Striphouse do one for $15. I've never ordered it, but I did sit next to someone who certainly didn't leave any...

No problem to just roll up and order it by itself at the bar if you just want that dish.

Let's not bash Chipotle, it's perfectly fine and a solid choice when comparing to fast food. I'm not eating there in Vegas though, I'm eating there when I can't think of what else to have for dinner on an average weeknight after work.

Pet peeve of my. The food racism people have towards certain cuisines.

Ie) Chinese food can never be high end and must be eaten in a dingy **** hole to be authentic. Because you know, only French or Japanese food can be high end.

There are many high end Chinese places in Shanghai or Taipei. It's never a horrible idea to pay a bit more to eat in a nicer environment.

Chipotle is wonderful for what it is. China poblano is definitely overpriced, but I thought the food was excellent the only time I've been there and I'd definitely consider going back in the future.

My main issue with their Chinese menu was that nothing really felt elevated compared to street food or dim sum I've had in hong kong, Vancouver, sf or even Seattle. I ate Michelin star Chinese in HK that definitely was and I did not feel I overpaid for it like I do at China poblano.

Yes. That I probably agree with.

We don't think ALL Chinese food needs to be cheap, just that china pablano's could be a bit cheaper, even considering casino pricing

Gave Earl of Sandwich one more try tonight to make sure I was being fair. Definitely just par.

And that was after looking at the Walgreens sushi options (veggie mango, spicy crab, or spicy shrimp), so you know anything would have an advantage at that point.

Is there a close casual sushi place near Bellagio that is open late (at least midnight, preferably 1am)? Looking for some place to walk to at or around midnight after a poker session. I know Nobu is across the street, Roku is nearby, and Sensi/Yellowtail are in Bellagio. They all close at or near 11pm. Tetsu/Ichiban in Bally's, Social House, and Koi all close at or near 11pm. I don't know how late Blue Ribbon is open, but that's not really what I'm looking for anyway.

I do see one place called Rising Sun about a block east of the Strip on Flamingo, which is the direction I'd be headed anyway. They are open until midnight.

Would really prefer some cheap 24hr sushi place close walking distance to Bellagio but maybe that isn't possible.

Across street from Hard Rock Kaizen Sushi is really really good. I think they are open quite late. About a 10-15 minute walk though.

Had lunch and dinner outside the strips with some friends that took me out of town. A placed called kj kitchen and hk star. Both were OK. The duck was not good at all at hk. I would not have chosen Chinese food , but my friends brought their parents over and they don't eat outside their cuisine. I also did not insult them by telling them I have better Chinese food options all around me back home. Today I'll try that breakfast joint on Paris.

Thanks, Clark. I'll check out Kaizen. I'm staying at the Candlewood on the corner of Paradise/Flamingo, so it's not that far away from where I end up.

OK, I'm an idiot. For some reason I had it in my head that Musashi was purely teppanyaki. It's like a 2 minute walk from where I'm staying. I'll be going there and will report back. Thanks, imakeposts.

Turyia - That's Rising Sun. It's in the same building as US Bank. I've been walking right past it on the way to the strip but have yet to stop in.

Had hash hash a go go at the quad today. While I made the mistake of staying at the quad. This joint was actually pretty good , not the first time I ate here . Went with the fried maple chicken , 2 eggs , mash , Bacon platter. It was OK. Serving has set me back a meal though. I might do that sushi joint tonight. Maybe I'll run into you chopsticks.
