Heading back to Vegas for another extended trip!! Originally was going for 5 days to tag along with the girlfriend on her work trip but my friend Ryan decided to have his bachelor party in Vegas Super Bowl weekend so I said screw it and extended the trip.

Currently in the air out of Tampa on Spirit, I paid extra for the second row seat with 40% more room and it’s worth every penny. Very comfy seat and only a window/aisle seat in this row makes it a much more enjoyable experience. Gonna be landing around 4:30 Vegas time so I’ll post this after we get checked in at the Mirage. Doing 3 nights at the Mirage then 7 nights at Caesars to close out the trip.

It’ll just be me and the girlfriend until next Saturday. She’ll be busy doing work stuff the first few days then she leaves Saturday after the bachelor party crowd arrives. It’s 5 guys total and we’re planning on getting into some shenanigans after the Super Bowl Sunday night and I’ll share whatever details I can remember.

Look for the usual 1/2, 2/5, PLO, table games, sports betting mix from yours truly. Aa always I’ll provide lots of updates and pics as we go!! Let’s run good and crush it!!

And we’re on the board early…sort of. Grabbed dinner @ the sports bar place in the Mirage, fish and chips was decent. Played a little BJ and dumped $200 in about 4 minutes. Did scoop 2 first quarter bets to get it back though…


Currently sitting in a decent 1/3 game @ Bally’s. The gf is playing at another table and will most likely cash out more than me…

Oh starting bankroll was $6300, didn’t help that I lost $2K earlier this week across 3 sessions. We’ll grind it back hopefully!!

Not off to a good start. Got into the 1/3 game for 400 and couldn’t make a hand. Stole a few pots then ran top 2 into a rivered straight with AJ on a A-J-3-8-10 board vs the action player at the table. Ended up dumping another 300 @ BJ and decided to call it a night. Bigger and better things coming today!!

Well I guess I misread the tournament schedule at the Orleans on the Bravo app. The $150 bounty runs on Saturday night not Sunday. Did hit for $350 @ Pai Gow and cashed another sports bet. On the list now for 8/16 Omaha and 1/3 NL. Let’s crush some local chumps!!

Got off to a choppy start in the $8/16 Omaha game. It was actually a half kill game that escalated to $12/24 if someone scooped a $100+ pot. I took me over 45 minutes to win a piece of any pot as I missed several unbreakable low draws in pots that were very bloated. Ended up a scooping a couple decent hands and was planning on leaving a small loser when I looked down at AA23 in a kill pot. I raised of course and got 4 callers. Flop was AcKcQs, I bet and got 2 calls. Turn was an off suit 7 giving me the nut low draw to go with top set. I bet and it was now heads up. The river paired the 7 and I got three $24 bets in after my opponent check raised. He mucked what I assume was KK or QQ and I was now out of the hole. I posted the kill the next hand, folded the flop and racked it up +$52.

So I ended up getting $600 back at the Orleans to stop the bleeding. Still down about $1200 for the trip but I’ll be collecting $700 in the morning from the bookie back home to pad the bankroll. Calling it an early night as the gf and I are both still jet lagged. Better things on the way tomorrow and I’ll include better pics!!

Bucks game was clutch. Down 6 in 2nd quarter and then they just turn around and curb stomp the Clips for the rest of the game lol.

Yesh not gonna lie, I got extremely lucky there. An NBA guy I follow has been murdering first quarter bets the last couple weeks. He legit went like 12-1 since I started following him. He had Celtics & Bucks first quarter yesterday. Celtics hit, and when I went to bet the Bucks game @ the Orleans I was informed they don’t book quarter bets. Ok gimme first half then, which turned a loser into a winner!!

I had a good one yesterday, picked Mavs, Bucks and 76ers. Missed narrowly on Mavs, Wyoming -2.5 and Bucks.

What are you betting today?

I am looking at Raptors, Suns, Jazz and NJ Devils.

So far I like Holy Cross +15.5, still looking at offer games. I’ll post tickets here before everything tips off.

Level 7, up to 27K. Just scooped a couple of decent pots in Razz and Stud Hi. 66 entries, GF just busted. She lasted over 2 hours, not bad for her first attempt. She said she liked it so maybe we’ll find another one later this week…

Second break and we’re on fumes, gonna have 3 big bets left. Lost a 20K Stud Hi pot, all the chips went in on 6th street. I had KhQhJh10h3hKs and my opponent rolls over trip 9s with both the 9h and Ah to block any improvement for me. The dealer starts to push me the pot before the table reminds him there’s one more card. He had dropped the deck but it was intact and he promptly burns and peels off the fourth 9

We’re still in this!! 3rd break with 75K! Went from dust to buying up the blue 500 chips for the color up. Got started in Hold em with bottom set that filled up on Q8498 and got action on every street including 2 bets on the river when my opponent rivered trips. Kept winning small/medium pots and even had rolled up Kings in Stud Hi but sadly no action. Coming back to 10K big bet so we’re not deep stacked but definitely above average! About 21 left and 8 get paid…

And we’re busted. The big bet was actually 12K when we got back. I folded every hand until I was in the SB during the hold em round. A short stack raised, the cutoff 3-bet and I 4-bet with JJ. The original raiser was all in for the full bet and the button called. Fop was 543, I bet and the button raised and I 3-bet to pot him all-in. The shortest stack showed 10-10, the button had 9-9 and you can probably figure out what peels off on the turn
