No it was Spain.

I don't know where the problem is with Columbus

I think we can all agree that Home Alone was a pretty decent movie

If anyone is offended by what Terrance has to say, I say "Toughen up cupcake". This podcast wasn't remotely political or anti American. Terrance isn't anti America. Spare me.

Terrance, are you an atheist like Adam? Oddly enough, you seem to have an interest in the existence of the God of the Bible, as you have brought it up twice in the last two episodes. Also, I notice you always say "God" or "Jesus" when you are frustrated or trying to make a point. I'm curious as to why you don't say "Muhammad," or "Allah," or "Buddha!"

Anyway, I will say you and Adam have great chemistry together, and you are hands down the best co-host since Mike has left the show. Keep up the good work.

Bringing the show online later during the week makes it difficult for me to get to the password before sundays as I listen to the show on my drive to work every day. The **** load of traffic I am facing in the moment definitly helps. But my suggestion was gonne be to either produce it earlier again or maybe share the password somewhere in the middle. So just do it like this week every week.

Anyways, great show again guys. I kind of get the feeling I am having more laughs than ever while the content is still great. TChan - this is where you belong, don't you dare letting us down.

I have had this problem too. I play the show on my commute, and recent episodes have been arriving late on Thursday rather than late Wednesday, meaning I listen over a hour less before the weekend.
Maybe the password should be for a week later. That may be too much for all our attention spans though.

I actually thought Terrance's interest was more in reverse engineering; I swear I heard that term used 4 or 5 times during the show (might have been the last one actually; I listened to them near back to back).

Love the show, enjoyed the guests, couldn't agree more with just letting the show language and length be naturally relative to the content and guests for the week. Adam, you may be awful at winning the bets made during the show, but you're absolutely killing it with the hosting duties and the minor tweaks you've made each show to freshen things up. Terrance, you're ham to Adam's thanksgiving turkey, I sure hope you'll either return or keep on as co-host after the trip to Hong Kong. On that last note, I also wanted to mention I was really hoping to hear another Nat X open, including TChan shooting down/declining reading his part. I thought that stuff was great.

I'm not sure this means what you think it means.

I can understand getting riled by the regular Republican bashing, but I cannot understand anyone seriously defending Columbus unless they have done zero research beyond the candy-coated bull**** in elementary school history lessons.

Spoiler:
That thing about George Washington and the cherry tree.....

What a shocker.
idrinkcoors was the guy in the other thread who was mad that Terrence questioned George Bush's intelligence, and now he's up in arms over calling Christopher Columbus a negative force on the indigenous population of the Americas.

No one tell this guy that the sky's blue, I think I see a pattern.

Guys, everybody has their own political views.

I happen to be pretty far left, but laugh at the ineptitude of both sides quite often. Let's keep the name calling to Terrence when talking about George Bush.

Kidding, but I'd appreciate zero politics in this forum.

I thought Finland was part of the Axis powers as well?

It was, so was Hungry. Spain wasn't, but there was a division of "volunteer" troops on the Eastern Front.

I think the word "powers" is relevant here. As bad a mother****er as Simo Häyhä was, I don't think that makes Finland a power in the war. And you'd have a hard time finding someone who knows that Finland and Hungary (or Bulgaria) were on that side without naming Italy or Japan first.

Ha yeah, there were some more funny quotes that I can't remember.

I think I would have gone for 1.5, and I would have taken the over if someone offered that to me. I thought she would get q1 and she is usually pretty good at history. Knew she was drawing dead in q2 and very thin in q3.
