So far we have:

3. Jet Ski race
4. Boat chugging race
5. Waterslide time trials

Help!
Obviously a Tour de Franzia if we can find tricycles...mopeds could work but might get messy...or maybe some good ol' fashioned butt chugging challenge

Hmm...I'm trying to think of what I would miss by giving up bacon...

Does cheese include dropping Cheetohs? Is that delicious orange powder considered cheese?

Can't answer until I know....

One year with 3 friends, we did a dodecathlon (1 event per month). It had to be activities somewhat sport-like (but on the lazy side) that we could do with a beer.

We ended up with:

01-Air hockey
02-Pool (billiards)
03-Bowling (big bowls)
04-Mini-putt
05-Petanque (similar to bocce)
06-Horseshoes
07-Karting (tougher with a beer while driving)
08-Par-3 golf
09-Mississippi (with the wooden pucks)
10-Bowling (small bowls)
11-Darts
12- NL Hold'em (aka regular poker)

A good old fashioned foot race is always fun. Or if you really want to be degen, race while you're hoping or skipping.

Actually, a wheelchair race would be even better, or maybe wheelchair basketball.

a bacon sandwich once a week is pretty much my only bacon consumption, but i go through huge amounts of cheese, snap dump the bacon.

Also - another great interview, you guys are on a pretty good run of late. EDIT: I'm particularly loving some of the more strat-oriented discussions.

Great show as always.Re more recreational players not taking up PLO I think Sauce touched on it the other week in his interview.I only play poker on weekends and holidays and have enough on my plate keeping up with the ever changing dynamics in holdem.I just don't have the time or inclination to learn a whole new game.I'd also rather kid myself on I have an edge in a game I do know than gamble in a game where I barely know the starting hand rankings!

New MEGA show! Ep 248 feat. @Bttech86 @PokerRefugees @nolandalla and we pose a critical question...chesse or bacon? pokercast.twoplustwo.com

Bacon is easily substituted by a whole variety of cured meats (salami, chorizo, pepperoni, Prosciutto), so for total clarification are we talking ALL cured pork products or just bacon.

If just bacon ditch the chesse.

Another stellar episode, guys!

Decathalon event - running backwards in the sand (with or w/o an alcohol element added)

Bacon vs Cheese - This seems like a level to me. Unless you're lactose intolerant, cheese is in waaay too many good things to give it up, so it's the obvious choice to dump bacon.

Great show, guys. I love bacon, but there is no substitute for cheese. Also, bacon is one food item, but you would have to give up all cheeses.

Event suggestions: limbo competition, trash can basketball and a timed frozen Margarita drinking contest

It's Django Unchained, Adam, not Unlimited. And I also can't wait to see it. That will be my Christmas present to myself.

And I give up bacon, no question.

Cheese has so many more practical uses, so my answer is bacon.

I'm lactose intolerant. I -still- drop bacon. It wouldnt be easy, but cheese is just on SO many things. I'm assuming I could still use simulated bacon bits on potatoes and perogies. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Easy choice to drop bacon for all the reasons already menioned.
12-07-2012 , 11:48 PM
Snap call cheese. It eliminates a whole swath of great stuff.

Bacon makes stuff better, but cheese is the foundation of so many things.

pinball and foosball for degen decatholon are easy wins.
and how about a segway marathon?

also, beacon is an easy choice to drop over cheese.
soy bacon is ok as a substitue wheras tofu is just gross.

edit: forgot to mention that the ben's interview was great. I really enjoyed the show. Thks!

Very nice episode.

Cheese and its not close. If it was pizza or bacon, I would choose pizza. So I'm basically freerolling on everything else cheese related.

Oooh, game theory food division. What subset of cheese dishes would make you indifferent between it and bacon?

This!

Last edited by Joushuusha; 12-08-2012 at 10:34 AM. Reason: Pancetta must be way too close to bacon.
