As are Farzad Bonyadi, Hamid Dastmalchi, Mansour Matloubi, Ali Nejad, Shawn Sheikhan etc.. I think Adam's point is they probably didn't play a ton of poker while they were still in Iran but who knows.

Somehow I don't see Mansour listening to the show

I could be completely wrong, but isn't everyone named so far folks (or children of folks) that fled Iran due to Khomeini or Iran-Iraq war?

Anyone else notice that LivB sounds like a younger/nicer version of alan boston?

Can't wait to listen. I hope you guys don't wait until the end to talk about hsp. Last week I was on pins and needles wondering it was even going to be brought up.

Great episode this week, thought there were some really good questions to Olivier Busquet and he answered in a very detailed manner. He sounded comfortable being interviewed, no doubt were going to hear a lot more about him this year.

Tee Hee - the question is do I slip them in on purpose now or are they true slip-ups.

Great episode!! Olivier Busquet seemed really comfortable and gave a great interview. Was really interesting talking about his idea as to why he majored in Philosophy and its benefits to poker and life.

It's very important to refer to it as 'Shrove Tuesday' in the English tradition, and not the more colloquial 'Fat Tuesday'. Why? This year it also falls on International Women's Day.
someone asked at a meeting at work on IWD what is international womens day? I send its sort of like St Patricks day is for men and beer but for women. not too many women at work have said anything to me since...clearly im the new age unsensitive guy.

Olivier was a great interview, with Max Katz from last week you guys are on a roll.

Best podcast on the net.

Another great episode. Thanks guys.

Only halfway through it but I am hoping that the segment with Olivier doesn't end. His insights on HUSNG and the vast differences in the game and why it fits him better were very insightful.

Also, FWIW, however you guys conducted the interview with Olivier (I assume Skype), you should highly advise all your future guests to use the same mic/software that he did. It was probably the most crisp audio I remember in a long time (though I think you guys have made great strides in improving the interviewee's audio in the last few months).

Great show all around.
LivB gives a very solid interview, hopefully he becomes more of a TV regular.
