Pokercast 355 - WSOP Food preview w Jimmy Fricke, All American Dave and Chainsaw Pokercast 355 - WSOP Food preview w Jimmy Fricke, All American Dave and Chainsaw

A couple of things to note about this episode.

1. Ross' story about the guy 'helping' the woman player at the live game. Perhaps the dude was just trying to follow Adam's advice from a few episodes ago to be a little friendlier to the female players at the table.

2. If you're going to play on twitch for all to see, you're going to get critizied no matter if you play perfect poker or make mistakes as perceived by your viewers. Its part of the gig and getting the bonus donation money.

3. The previews for comedy movies tend to show the best jokes to draw you in to show what the writers and/or actors can do in the role. Dramas/thrillers give you hints to the stories, but not the 'twist' because it almost always is the old/rich/male caucasian who did it or was pulling the strings. The twist is if is his trophy wife trying to keep her power or the son who was raised with his trust fund entitlement attitude. The endings are just not surprising once you factor that in.

I think there's a big difference between being nice to female players and giving them straight up strat. If I saw a guy doing that to another guy I probably would have stopped it immediately, and if it wasn't a good looking girl I guarantee the guy wouldn't be giving her all the advice. Being nice/jovial/not a creep is what's most important, not making the spot at the table play better.

Ross, LOVED the mis-click story!
I used to have an All-in key, but disabled that after I 3bet all in on the wrong table with 62s (~120 bb deep). The nitty utg-opener tank called with AK, and I didn´t hit.
(0,10/0,25 zoom NLH).

Why do you treat it differently because its a guy/girl vs a guy/guy situation?

If it was a good looking guy getting the advice, could the guy providing the strategy information still be giving it for the same reasons you presume was going on in the case you observed?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I completely disagree. Vegas is far and away my favorite place to go, and the more I can hear about its inner workings the better.

For an average player who plays the local games dreaming of being in Vegas, I think these segments are great.

Is the recipe for Dave's spinach and mango smoothie public?

Fair enough. I get that Vegas is the kind of romanticized center of the poker industry so people may enjoy these segments even if they aren't going there. Maybe I'll just try the 2x speed on those segments in the future...

2 cups raw spinach
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 cup chopped mango
1/2 an avocado
1 banana
Rice milk to desired consistency

Blend in Vitamix.

He puts protein powder in as well, but I get plenty of protein so don't usually add it in.

I think the underwear Adam was referring to are Saxx brand, and they are phenomenal. Far and away the most comfortable underwear I've ever worn. Under Armour has some that have the pocket as well, but it isn't nearly as good imo.

Not cheap if you're normally a tighties in a 3pack kind of guy (about $30-35 CDN each), but I highly recommend.

Ex Officio makes the quick-dry underwear that are useful for camping/backpacking or otherwise traveling light. They are great to workout in too even if you aren't on a mountain.

That'd be Jamie xx - Far Nearer, the tunes are listed in the description although it looks like I forgot to say they were music here though haha.

and Big Toe, Yeah! That song is fairly new to me here caught it from a DJ Marky mix.

I've got a few different brands that have the pocket, they take a little getting used to.

Pros:
- I'm not a big sweater, but can see how the seperation would definitely help
- Makes your package look huge

Cons:
- The bottom seam of the pocket may rub against an area that can be quite tender
- Cost, they aren't cheap
- Makes your package look huge - could be a bad thing in the way a wonderbra for chicks can be perceived as false advertising
