looks like I'm going to have to set up a 3-way run off. for this round. not ideal, but the schedule is in place. I'd like to get a hold of the cheeky bastard that didn't vote just to cause that tie!

re: fixing the tie problem in diamond division:

First, sorry for all the confusion regarding the tie situation. When I woke up to close the polls last night and change the baby, a 3-way run off seemed reasonable. But I overlooked that this puts the winner of "hearts" at a disadvantage. Kudos to Pokerstars Steve D for catching this first.

So here's what we're doing:

1. Red conference final poll has been closed and cancelled.
2. Black conference poll will remain open, stay on the same schedule (2 days of voting from when it was posted).
3. Diamond division (where the tie was) has been re-opened, and will remain open until 11:55 EST on Sunday. (PLEASE VOTE IF YOU HAVEN'T)
4. After Diamond division closes, we'll do the red final for about 24 hours.
5. After the red final closes, we'll do the final (red vs black), and it will remain open until the guys record the show, at which time the winner be announced.

I would have been fine with it the way it was, but so be it.

Thanks for being so understanding, but this arrangement is definitely more fair for you.

Too bad the 2+2 Choice event conflicts with day 1 of the PCA Ladies Event...otherwise, I'd definitely consider playing, at least in some of these. Great contest though, good luck to the finalists!

Cant make the NAPT, but I will be up for the BCPC's from Friday the 19th to the 28th. Let me know if anythings going on party-wise. I am family-free for the week, could be trouble. Gonna try and catch the Wednesday night Nucks game vs Avs. also have tickets for Fridays game, but since I'll still be in the Main, I'll be unloading them to someone ;-)

Didnt' get a $550 ticket in time unfortunately, but will play the $1100 and $2700.
