obviously not the reason they got thumped but still...

ha yeah I missed the LA game but heard about the 7 minute PP then he goes out of his way to one up himself and hands out a 7min 2man advantage.

Certainly a first for me and I couldn't help but laugh when they actually confirmed it would be a 7min 5 on 3.

Felt bad for Lack and Eriksson

Wow, hadn't noticed ther Devorski was still officiating...

Attended both the line brawl hockey game and the Sehawks/49ers. Quite the sports weekend.

thats a pretty good weekend. A howls win this weekend, Urijah Faber beating Renan Barao and the Bruins scoring 6 goals tonight and Saturday would make this weekend an amazing sports weekend. (oh yeah and me breaking 80 on the golf course)

Big game tonight: Bruins vs Canucks. Should be intense.

The word intense hasn't been used to reference a Canucks game for quite some time. Since they beat Boston and scored 6 goals, they've been a frail, disinterested shell of a hockey team. Quite sad and difficult to watch actually.

yeah I hear you. Well hopefully tonight puts a spark in them and we get a good game. I need some playoff intensity hockey this week before the olympic break.

Leafs lose to Florida in a night where they can't muster up any offense

Time for operation tank for the Canucks. Problem is because GM Mike Gillis has handed out 10 no-trade clauses like the f'n moron that he is, the Canucks can't even dump veterans and get younger. He has handcuffed the franchise for the next couple years until the team sucks so bad that the players with NTC clauses start asking for trades. By then it'll be too late.

I think Gillis gave out the NTC's to insulate his own job security. The owner won't fire me since any new GM replacing me won't be able to make trades either.

Canucks are on a steep slope to Flames-ville.

Thats a pretty believable theory on the GM. That game last night sucked. Its sad to see a good hockey city with a crappy team like that. At least in Edmonton and Winnipeg you get the feeling they try.

Does it mean that my Habs are playing the Canucks at the right moment tonight?

Also, St. Louis was added to the Team Canada roster to replace Stamkos. Justice is served in that case. I had Neal/Giroux as a 2a/2b replacement behind St. Louis.

All right, 42 saves for Price vs Luongo last night. Does it mean he will start the first game of the preliminary round?

Also, would be sweet to see Marty play right wing to Kunitz and Crosby during the Games...

Edit: A first ever in the NHL last night: 2 penalty shots in the same period for the same player (Pacioretty)!

Well there goes the best goalie vancouver has ever had.... Pretty unfortunate we traded the second best guy last year.

Hopefully Mr Lack can live up to his high ceiling.

Tank mode I would assume now.

Kind of sad to see him go to be honest.
