They are drunk somewhere IMO.

They will probably not even have a pulse till Sunday.

Whenever they do a pokercast, it will be the most listened to ever.

Better off waiting 'til Monday, and let the dust to settle a bit. Ya' know, less speculation, and (hopefully) more facts.

Also, it would be good to get some information on how this will affect other parts of the poker world like...

- The future of NATP & Onyx Cup (probably dead)
- Poker on TV: HSP and PAD are currently airing new shows, and The Big Game has some shows "in the can" that were to start airing in June. All of these are sponsored by Stars and Tilt.
- Online training sites, like Deuces Cracked, which sponsors this podcast.
- Poker podcasts that are/were sponsored by poker sites, like Ante Up and this podcast.

please do a pokercast ASAP. actually, please release a new pokercast everyday to keep us updated.

so you can still do an emergency episode, as well as your regularly scheduled episode when more info is available.

I doubt your money is safe even though they say it is. I think the FBI is cracking down on the sites and basically going to jack them up for the cash so they can put it toward the national debt, then they're going to let the vegas casinos start online sites and TAX them and the players' winnings! Your chance of seeing that money again is slim to none - IMO. I'm just thankful I cashed out most my account earlier this week left about 1K in my FTP account but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Hey all,

As some have pointed out in this thread, a show before Monday would be a bunch of speculation and guesswork.

Were going to work on getting some of the most in-touch, connected people in the industry to come on and give us the skinny after they have had a few days to work through a lot of the repercussions.

It also is going to take us both days to sift through all the indictments, facts and opinion to be able to discuss it at length on Monday.

Thx Adam. Looking forward

Request for information or links to information:

Bios of 11 indicted persons.
Explanation of charges.
Legality of U.S. government interfering with U.S. citizens' access to foreign websites. Has this been done previously?
Legality of U.S. government/U.S. law enforcement interfering with international websites.

Some good notes on Pokerrati.

for Hammerhands....I wandered the web earlier and it seemed FORBES had not only a concise report of todays events but also a few interesting articles from the past year or so. This guy Nathan Vardi seems fairly plugged in, I'd look at his other stuff as well as this one:

http://blogs.forbes.com/nathanvardi/...nies-indicted/

Also, to Mason et al. at 2plus2 Global HQ: I think it can't be said enough how much so many of us enjoy and relish the work Mike, Adam, et al do on a weekly basis. Hopefully Pokerstars will stay involved, but should they not, I do hope you'll find a way thru other sponsors to keep on keeping on here.

+1 We need a sane, moderated, knowledgeable source to listen to. Reading the unfiltered forums is not enuf.

+1, If you guys don't have time to pull off a emergency poker cast that's understandable but I'd atleast like to see a cliffnotes thread (similar to the one that happened when the possibility of the US temporary poker ban was being discussed).
