50k update

it's the 6 handed final table and we as a group drafted 4 of them.

The most horses anyone has at the final table is 2. Protential and hussainsajwani and there are 11 teams with 1 horse at the final table.

Nick Schulman (live fr 50k stream) says he's iffy for One Drop, probably will skip the $10k HORSE and likely will only play the ME.

he said in the razz commentary that he would only play 3 events (main, 50k and 2-7 NLSD)

He came 2nd in one of those so I can't grumble.

He's done much better than a few other drafted players that have tried a lot harder.

Everyone has a rooting interest still in this 50k:

5 of us want gordo to win and the other 38 want JRB to win!!

Score Update

Sorry it's been a few days but I've been a combination of working, ill or drunk over the last 72 hours.

50 events in the books and there's is no change in the leaders but Parzival is beginning to open up a decent sized gap on Lowskys in 2nd place (it's approaching 1000!!)

Lots still to look forward to if you're 1st or 41st though. There is the $100k high roller, the main event and the 25k plo.

Parzival crushing as usual...

100k Day 2

millermoney has 4 horses left which is the most and there are a bunch of people who have no sweats left at all. I'm one of those people who have no sweats left at all but I'm still interested to see how this thing unfolds.

any truth to the rumor that they've only just realized that, based on the current GPI-inspired formula, the winner of the $111k will actually end up with 111x the POY pts of all other events combined?

that would definitely be a boost for my team

Something happens to Racener pre bubble - hes leaking chips badly - same thing happened in the $50k and he barely hung on for a min-cash.

If he's not careful here hes going to miss the $$$.

Theyre playing 50k/100k w antes so 8/18 are <15bbs atm. Apparently they are already playing hand-for-hand. Should be fireworks ahead.

If each point scored was redeemable for $1 then Parzival could now buy himself into the Main Event and have enough left over to get a meal from All American Dave.

I've given up all hopes of taking this thing down but I've set myself the more achievable goal of finishing ahead of PokercastRoss. We've been back and forth in the middle of the table and he's currently the guy closest to me in points. Watch out Ross!

I have 7 payers with 61 left in the 10k dealers choice, even if all make final table still doubt it will be enough to take this thing down. But should be a fun day anyway

I have 5 players left who are 4th, 15th, 19th, 28th and 30th.

All in the top half but there are 28 of the remaining 61 players drafted. Someone is going to do well out of this!

Score Update

There are a couple of teams within striking distance of Parzival for the title, but each of those would have to have a very good main event.

Everyone else has got their own little victories to be had. It might not be worth any extra points or money but there is the bragging rights of being the most successful team in the main event which can be followed here

It is now time to be checking that all the points for your team are correct. I have got the online event points and the lucky 7s tournaments to insert some points for but other than that my entire focus is on the main.

In the past few years I have gone from bottom 20% to bottom 10%.

Next year I plan to draw 1of26 letters from a hat and choose only players whose names start w that letter.

Could be good.

I know I am behind with the spreadsheet and there are inaccuracies with the Main Event page, but also know that it's on my to do list and that I want to get it up to date tonight.

In the mean time I have added a Random Mathematics Page for your enjoyment

Anyone figure out what's going on in that page gets an extra 100 points on the draft!!

8 players including myself can get no more points this year. You can tell people like this because they are highlighted green in the overall standings. Special shout out to J3w3ll3r who might currently be in 40th place but has 7 horses still in the main event. Let's see how high he can climb!!
