It all depends on the days, during the week my best bets are riverwind or firelake. Riverwind tends to have more games going on a consistent basis but firelake has more fish when the games are goin. During the weekend though, Luckystar in concho is the best I've found. They run cheap tournaments and all the monkeys play cash before and after they bust. There are a couple sick people that frequent there but they play the big mixed game that is almost always running. I saw former ME winner Barry Johnston playing in the mixed game and I played with Lou Diamond Phillips at 2/5 once. If your up in witchita and the closes casinos are oklahoma then one of the Tulsa ones would probably be your best bet.

I think maintaining a constant bankroll is the way to go if at all possible because having to withdraw is what keeps you from being able to handle swings at higher stakes, thus crippling your chance to increase earn. Im fairly confident if I had been able to keep all my winnings in my roll I would be playing 2/4 by now.

Depends, if she is an art major I would for sure look up some key paintings and some deep info to get into with her. That'd be alot of work and she would have to be pretty specifically into art. To be honest you cant go wrong with the zoo unless she is just a total bitch. I played in Absolute and we won open one year and did poorly in main. We played a few tournaments around Louisiana and won 2 prizes (like 100 bux per person for the 2). I was in alot of failed clans and prefered to play on public servers getting banned for "hacks".

Polarized ranges and inability to defend these ranges

I think it for sure helped me to multitable faster by reading hands and textures easier. There is like 10x more to think about with every card that comes in omaha per person in the pot than with holdem.

Im pretty inconsistent about playing on a schedule. I would say I average 15-20 hours a week atm playing 12 tables on average.

assault is one of my alltime favorite along with mice final. siege was so annoying because all CT had to do was camp ramp and listen to water and it was already over.

I did alot of that too. Repeated runs to earn armor sets and trade amongst the server... Did help set me up for grinding poker, any time Im having trouble grinding, I think of the hours I wasted on mmorpgs grinding for free.

I'm glad someone else is stuck at 100nl for life. Yea, my roll would be sweet too and I'd be playing 1/2+ if nyc bills weren't so damn high.
Also, I've been reconsidering playing high. I think it's okay if you play considerably less tables, but thinking that your play is the same is just fooling yourself, imo. And I have plenty of experience with both. (And we have better weed in nyc too - it's no cali, but it's solid)

Q: What hands do you play against an unknowns min 3-bet both OP and IP and how do you generally proceed if they pot the flop? Give them cred for a big pair? What hands are you 4-betting assuming 100bb deep?

100BB effective stacks, you open AK in the HJ, folds to the button, an aggro TAG who you don't have any notable history with 3bets you, blinds fold, what's your standard line here? How does that differ if you have JJ? 44?
