is anyone playing Rush Poker at Full Tilt? i am playing it right now.

anyways, i think it is impossible for any HUD to keep up with the changing table. but, does anyone know if there is a HUD out there that can do it?

-850 in 10 minutes. I give up.

I have a few $$ on FT and gave it a go.

It is a lot of fun and there are plenty of lunatics, I tried my normal game and was beating it at a decent clip until the following 2 hands came up

All in on J55 flop with JJ vs KK vs J5 (lol) .... rivered by a K
All in on TK2 flop with TT lost to runner runner flush

Fk it.... I can get rivered on stars exactly the same.

If you can handle the swings I can see it being insanely profitable and I can also see a fair few multi-tabling stars regs moving over just because of the standard of play and the number of hands you can get in. (and the only shortstackers are fish not reloading).
The weekend is going to be a real bloodbath imo gonna be some real bankroll builders happening.

I think FT are onto something with this and the software was very smooth. If you decide to play it though, fade rather than slide and it's just like stacking tables on stars.

what does that mean?

slide moves the players in from the side of the screen

Fade the players just 'appear' at their seats

It's a lot easier on your eyes

okay, i figured it out.

now does anyone think a HUD can run on these tables?

Fun? Yes.
Addictive? Yes.
Something new? Yes.
Profitable? Well, from what I saw - yes. For now. It's gonna force me to take better notes, use the colour tab thing and hand read better without a HUD but it's hard to say how long-term profitable it will be once they remove the *NEW* banner from the button.

You've gotta at least applaud FTP for trying something new though, right?

I hate it... I try to bluff (as usuall) and then it turns out they are a huge fish and called down 100bb with bottom pair. Great, I got owned again. **** it, I give up

I think most optimal style would be a very tight aggresive game.

I love it, the swings will come quicker playing many more hands per hour but if you play position with a decent hand raise, if you get reraise big fold and move on, I think playing really tight and betting your good hands will make you a ton of money.

The game just changed ... look what online has done for Live play. Now this will do the same for Internet play as we knew it Monday.

This is huge.

It sounds like fun, but...

I think it will attract fish because it offers more action but I'm afraid that in a rush game I have smaller edge on them for various reasons. I don't like the idea at all.

I can't help but feel that in 3 years time I will be thinking this of Rush Poker:

"If only I knew 3 years ago what I know now! I could have killed those games and been loaded beyond my wildest dreams"

What I'd give for a sneaky-peek into the future....

can't stand the rush tables, reminds me of stacking on stars. can only pray it doesn't pull too many fish away from the real ring games

so far I'm loving this rush thing, sure I'm up 3bi in <100 hands, but wut eva

when I start running bad at them I'll hate the whole concept though I'm sure

just the fact that it's brand new means the action now will probably be better then it will be in the coming weeks/months

so I suggest trying it out now

might be a good exercise for some of us that rely so heavily on stats and HUDs to effectively play without them as well

dude anyone who likes this rush poker is completely oblivious to how to play poker in general. This is by far the dumbest form of poker I have ever seen. Lets play poker without ever being able to know your player and make real plays on them. DURRRRRRRR lets just fold and get to the next table. HAHAHAHA rush poker is a joke dont play it if your good takes away a lot of your edge on the bads

there's no denying that your edge is smaller but that's simply outweighed by the fact that it's so fishy right now

probably bad for poker long term though

Has anyone tried multi-rushing?
01-20-2010 , 11:12 PM
was 4 tabling it last night (2 x 6-max and 2 x 9-max) you can join the same game more than once. was easy, you just play less hands per table as you add the tables cos you cant 'quick-fold' quite as early.

btw does anyone know how the rake works on these games? do you only pay in the hands you actually get involved in or something?

Very soft from what I could see during the short while I played on it. Full of ******s.

I lost a couple of buy-ins.
