I do not have reads on the BTN. I just sat down.

I think better lines might have been to either bet/bet turn and river or c/c turn, c/f river. TBH I am pretty clueless and was 50/50 on either betting turn or just c/cing. C/c seems weak though. But I'm not sure if he's ever bluffing or betting worse here on river to where I can call?

Thoughts appreciated. This spot was rather rough for me.

Bet the turn ~25. You have a monster draw. It's a semi-bluff but you have excellent equity and may cause better hands (i.e better 9's) to fold. Also, it serves to protect your hand. Our plan. B/F turn since his raise means you are drawing to maybe FD or ISD. If he calls turn bet and you miss, you can C/F since he will most likely have a hand that beats you when he calls a double barrel OOP. Any thoughts?

agree with that line, cant check turn, as he may be floating you on the flop

Thanks flip. I really need to pay more attention to what opponent's ranges are for calling stuff. V was a losing player on PTR but made a great (accidental?) value bet with TT on the river that I paid off.
