Opponent is 12.4/9.7 over 733 hands...also, his Attempt to Steal % is 25.7, for what it's worth.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

MP2: $42.60
Hero (CO): $98.45
BTN: $100
SB: $11
BB: $100
UTG: $71.05
UTG+1: $105.80
MP1: $18

BB posts $1
Pre-Flop: Q Q dealt to Hero (CO)
BB checks, 2 folds, MP1 calls $1, MP2 folds, Hero raises to $5, BTN raises to $18

From the stats, this guy seems like a pretty solid player, and I have no memorable hands that would serve as a counterexample to that. Of course, even solid players 3-bet with worse hands than QQ.

One of the problems is that I am out of position. I don't mind playing after the flop in reraised pots, but I much prefer to do so in position.

If I 4-bet him preflop, he's probably not paying me off with anything I can beat, with the possible exception of AK. If he has AA or KK, then of course we are getting it in and I am screwed.

I don't really like any of my three options here. Kindly shed some light on things for me.

Thanks.

take the line that gets the most value out of worse hands

the old FR addage "talk $hit in chat" and shove might apply here

IŽd try to make up my mind wether this is a "legit" 3bet for sure or some kind of RegWarz play. If you think he isnŽt the kind of player who takes a risk to challenge your supposed squeeze raise, then indeed his range is very very narrow given his overall stats.

call and flop a set. Then check- call for the win. That's what everyone does to me.
