nevermind it was late and I am completely wrong. I didnt realize that the difference every 250k was 250 dollars lost. If hes making 50k points per month, no bank would have high enough interest to cover that lol.

I've pretty much stopped answering the phone when I am playing unless the caller ID shows something really unexpected

My sessions are rarely over 3.5 hours, so it can all wait until that

Jesus ****ing Christ I can't even win anymore at 100nl. If things don't change fast I'm seriously considering shortstacking. Please don't make it come to that poker gods.

the one thing that did get me back to playing well and winning after a massive losing streak was the self-exclusion option.. take it for what it's worth.

Dude, this is seriously the worst thing you can do. You just have to remind yourself that there are people who have it worse. Don't sink to this level. Go grind 26 turbo SAGs or something but don't ****** resort to short stacking.

In my opinion, resorting to short stacking would be like trying to hook up with dudes because you are on a cold streak with chicks.

zachvac,
If you do shortstack, please go to 6max and do it right. All of these guys shortstacking fullring are mindboggling to me. The most profitable spot for shortstacking in today's online environment is restealing guys that are opening too wide and too big, particularly in blind steal spots. You find that much, much more often at 6max than fullring.

zachvac,
I also feel kind of bad that I went off on you in chat a few days ago. I knew about your challenge and how you were stretching yourself quite a bit. It was clear your mental game was not as solid as usual. So, I knew a few comments in chat might bother you much much more than normal. It was a shady, underhanded thing for me to do. What can I say? I gamble for a living.

Also, you were practicing pretty poor seat selection IIRC. You were in a very tough spot based on where the fish, nits, and competent players were. I think you stopped even looking at seats trying to get in more tables and hands. Seat selection matters even more when 24-tabling IMO.

Fortunately for me I didn't see the chat then, what'd you say? **** in the chat doesn't bother me one bit though. It's when I make spewy plays when I need to be playing my best that I get pissed. And then when on top of that I run worse than I've ever run (I'm sure people here have run worse, and I really need to get over this **** and suck it up), I just tilt and proceed to make more spewy plays which has a spiral effect.

I know you're right here generally but at 6max don't they adjust better as well? I don't plan on shortstacking at all unless I go completely insane tonight again but at FR people will still open pretty light from hijack/CO if there's only one shortstack in the blinds for example, not to mention they'll raise more SCs/PPs in EP than the better stacking hands. In 6max any (good) shortstack changes the game pretty dramatically right?

How much do you think a Supernova account on stars would go for in the marketplace? I am going to attempt to sell my Stars account + SN and would like to know what a reasonable offer would be.
12-30-2008 , 07:09 PM
can you do that?
seems like would be against stars policy

Does anyone might be interested to run a challenge during junuary for the most hands played and the best win rate ? At nl200/400 and up. We could make smth like 1k for the most hands and $500 for the winrate or smth.
