lol editing HH's
04-21-2008 , 02:00 AM
I dunno wtf happened there I must have pasted something wrong. If I had 88 it would have still been a bluff so it doesn't really matter I guess.
04-21-2008 , 02:01 AM
it would have been a ******o bluff though since no one should ever ever ever raise/fold a better hand

Go into pokertracker -> game notes -> filter for all hands above 40c rake then filter for all hands with $3 rake and add the two together then divide by number of hands in the sample.

I have an offer for .5/1 players:

I would like to give away a free experimental coaching lesson. The way that it would work is that you record a 30 minute video of yourself playing up to 4 tables and recording your own thoughts. I watch the video and write down my thoughts about your thoughts and whatever else I think will help you. I'm not familiar with the game dynamics at these stakes so I will be focusing mostly on fundamental concepts and the process of how to make decisions rather than the end result.

I'm looking for someone who plays regularly, who doesn't play higher than .5/1 often, who studies the game and cares about learning, and who contributes to twoplustwo (and specifically, the strategy forums). If you are interested and meet this description, PM me and very briefly tell me about yourself and why you think I should pick you. If you write an essay I'll probably just skip over you. =p I intend to make my selection within 24 hours so if you don't hear back from me pretty quickly then I didn't pick you.

Don't bother PMing me if you're looking for any other coaching arrangements because I am not doing any other coaching at this time aside from this freebie thing.

Okay, more like allow us to talk when we feel the need and at least pretend to listen attentively. Appropriate face gestures and murmering sounds will take you far.

Not sure whether it's true but it has been suggested that on average a woman has about 3 times as many words to get out each day as a man.

thank you SO much. I have been trying to figure out this formula for awhile. For anyone thats interested this month over 48K hands of NL100 FR i came up with .385 vpp per hand . which is up from last month when i was getting .376 over 30k hands. so whatever is happening, the games are getting better. or it could be a sample size issue. fwiw

No problem dude as you share my first name along with fiftyleven other members of this forum alone. And yes I would concur with your assesment that the games are in general, getting better.

If you do this again later, I will definitely apply. Baby is coming any day now, so I don't want to commit to anything I can't follow through with at the moment.

I definitely need something like this. I am tired of being so bad at poker. With baby coming, I may not be able to play quite as much as have been, so I need to raise my winrate for sure.

Also, after the death of my sister this month, I decided to start donating a portion of anything I win every month to cancer research. So it would be nice if I actually had something decent to donate regularly.

So hopefully it goes well and you will decide to do it again.

lol,

This is what my lifetime looks like too, but this month is a microcosm, and the lifetime is nearly the same lol.
