BTW I think the Gary Benson initiative is great. I'm for it in principle and I'll probably use it myself with the appropriate firewall safeguards (dummy accounts as explained in an earlier post).

However, by its very nature, poker attracts a lot of compulsive, addicted gamblers. The classic crime formula is motive, means and opportunity. Motive=gambing addiction, Opportunity=Unsecured site containing account numbers, Means= easily available Internet instruction (plus organised crime targets poker).

Hence, I believe Gary's site should upgrade its security.

eBay Security Centre advises:
http://pages.ebay.com.au/securitycen...ity-theft.html
Quote:
Your eBay account contains valuable personal information so it is important to make sure your account does not fall into the wrong hands.
Using common sense, monitoring your account status and protecting your personal information is the best way to safeguard your account.
Identity theft occurs when someone steals personal or financial information for criminal purposes, usually their own financial gain.

Safeguard your online account details by following this simple advice:
...
Never email any personal information like your eBay account details (username and password) or bank account numbers.
...
Refuse to give out personal financial information to unknown callers or salespeople over the phone, on the internet or in person.

Click on rate sheet and the rate he uses is the T/T one.

I just moved into a house on Merwether beach in Newcastle (from Las Vegas) for the next 3 months

The casino in Sydney has the softest nlhe games I've ever seen (coming from growing up at Foxwoods and living in Las Vegas since then)

Thieves ripped off Sarkozy's bank account: report
Posted 1 hour 27 minutes ago
Updated 1 hour 28 minutes ago

Thieves have made withdrawals from French President Nicolas Sarkozy's bank account after obtaining his account number, the Journal du Dimanche newspaper reported.

The President's office confirmed Mr Sarkozy had filed complaints last month concerning the theft, which the newspaper quoted sources as saying involved only small amounts.

The failure to apprehend the criminals "shows that the criminals weren't amateurs," wrote the newspaper.

Optimal Oz (east coast) playing times.

Sorry if it’s been covered before. I’m new to 2 + 2, please reply with a link if it has.
I’m living in Melbourne and playing .25 / .50 exclusively on stars for about a year and I’m about to move up to .50 / 1.00 (finally hit $2000).

What are the best times to play at theses levels and if I am finding it a bit slow on stars at the moment, what is another good site to sign up to (bonus info).

I recently discovered Saturday morning 9am + (off the piss, no hangover) on stars to be loaded with donkeys (.25 / .50).

Thanks in advance.

most of the day Saturday and Sunday are good. Many fish on PS and FT then. Tables get tighter mid week and in the evening when many European SSers show up..

Get rake back from Full Tilt. You can also get a bonus of 600 i think. PM me if you want for more details.

Sat & Sunday mornings are best followed by anytime sat,sun followed by fri, mondays. That translates to US Fri & Sat night and Thurs & Sundays. Basically on days that alcohol consumption goes up so does the number of donkfish at the tables
10-22-2008 , 10:42 PM
9am AEST until about 4pm is the best hours to play on Pokerstars any day of the week because that corresponds with North American evening. Saturdays-Mondays are the best day of the weeks because they are the weekend games. Monday's are especially good because of all the tournament donkeys that cross over to cash.
