367.36 for the big room.
312.64 for the small one.

edit: good point about the bathroom, missed that. then id say 380/300.

350/330
01-31-2011 , 02:46 AM
hey ren can i get the math behind that? i came up with pretty much the same numbers 315/365 with just some basic mental arithmetic
01-31-2011 , 02:54 AM
small room is 11.6m2
sum of both bedrooms 25.23m2
11.6/25.23=0.459
0.459*680=312.64

lol mine was way more complicated than that trying to weight bedroom size vs size of overall apartment + add weight to ensuite. but pretty much same result haha

I'd love to hear an English translation of this.

I was in U.S. Army Intelligence during the 1980s, and read a lot of information about how awful life was in the Red Army for the draftees.

At one point I read the 'recipe' that Red Army soldiers used to strain the alcohol out of their shoe polish to drink, for instance.

Suicide was rampant. One Soviet soldier I know of decided to commit suicide by opening fire with the cannon of his infantry fighting vehicle on the other vehicles of his unit while they were at the gunnery range. A lot of soldiers died in that "suicide."

Conditions were brutal, even for the guys who had the comparatively soft duty of being stationed in the former East Germany.

i dont think its a math question. layout + bathroom are obv worth extra and its not quantified by square footage. i guess you could say something like 15% but theirs two fair ways (imo).

1) flip a coin to see who sets the price. Whoever sets the price picks a number theyre willing to pay and the other guy either accepts or declines the room at that price.

2) agree on price together and set up a competition to see who gets the room at predetermined price.

Whats a Chinese auction?

I think you should do a Dutch auction (count down from a high figure and the first to find an acceptable price takes it)

Juan I'm pretty sure the 1st option you suggest favours the 2nd person because they get more information upon which to make their decision.

You could also do sealed bids and the higher bid takes the room.

Chinese is just the opposite of dutch I think. ie. LacieK bids 350 on room, other guy bids higher or accepts, and so on until one guy accepts.

I think you should start off with sq ft of big bedroom + 1/2 sq ft of bathroom vs sq ft of small room and go from there using one of the auctions. Like there's no way I wouldn't pay $50 a month for the larger room with the bath (particularly if you have a lot of lady friends over), but people have different preferences.
01-31-2011 , 12:00 PM
yeah. I am in favor of the $380 v $300.

But just taking turns bidding on the larger room seems fair, if both of you want it (and can afford it).

It would be funny to see the competitive nature of a bidding war take over and the final result be something like $600 v $80.

It hasn't been done by the band, and otherwise it would not do it justice one bit. I could try to explain why not but it would take me a pretty long tl;dr post

New liverpool owner comfirmed worse then city owner. 35 million for andy caroll is such a joke. Could have gotten villa, ibrahimovic or dzeko for that money. Hell torres = Caroll + 15mil thats such a joke
01-31-2011 , 02:12 PM
Hahaha, obv the timing of Torres exit forced their hand, but
Torres out
Suarez, Carroll, Adam(?) in
is a great deal in my book. Is a big gamble, but I think it has vastly improved the Liverpool team for what will probably end up being a minimal net outlay.

only poker players, and this or the dutch auction seem very fair.

why not give up this season and spend the money on a quality signing in the summer? its not like you are going to reach champions league or get relegated anyway

true that. i have a feeling liverpool will be quite active in the summer transfer window anyways though. as a liverpool fan i am just happy to see some great signings coming in, and Moany Injured Judas leave.

thank you for your patience.
