Not when my 4bets are weighted towards bluffs...which is true some days.

I usually laugh when I hear TV commentators saying about the latest tournament phenom, "He is is tough and tricky, liable to show up with any cards at any moment". All the same all this talk about flatting 3-bets and 5-bet bluffing makes me wonder, if you can 'never' have a certain type of holding in certain spots, is that really such a good thing?

Of course if you're always taking napkins to war that's not so great either. However, now and again doing something you shouldn't as a rule keeps your opponents off balance.

Oh and I personally cbet slightly less (like, say 26$) with valuehands on these boards. Makes them spazz out 99.99% of the time. Easy piecy
Ty for response. So you say "most turns and rivers," do you agree with my play on the turn that fell?

prob a really basic question, but not sure of the answer: say you raise the co with ako and the btn who is a really nitty reg 3-bets what is the best play, because all three options seem to suck to me
05-22-2010 , 09:11 PM
fold, don't tell the FTP nits i said that though
05-22-2010 , 09:15 PM
Put a number on "nitty," what's his overall 3-bet stat and what's his 3-bet OTB (if the sample is > 3k hands).
05-22-2010 , 09:22 PM
final table of the 3:30 25k guaranteed..short though
05-22-2010 , 09:26 PM
it was just a general question really, because I've had the spot a few times, something like 9/7 and 2% 3-bet, playing 4 rush tables, not adjusting too much, just abc poker, I don't use a btn 3-bet stat maybe I should
05-22-2010 , 09:30 PM
Sweet H2T, I'm sweating you silently atm. You've still got enough chips to be workable, 8k payday not out of the question!

Just left-click the 3-bet stat on the HUD and it will bring up a yellow box that gives his three-bet by position. A 2% three-bet I would prob fold, as 2% is exactly KK+, AK.
