Its -14 degrees celsius here at the moment (google says its 6 degrees fahrenheit) and i dont mind it as long as i can keep my apartment warm.

I dislike heat much more because i cant concentrate on anything and just waste the whole summer doing nothing. Depends on the person i guess.

Anyway, lemme just brag a little bit

Decision time. My local football team are about to play in one of the biggest games in their history (and will probably get hammered). Do I venture out on the 160 mile return journey to see them get beat in these -4C temperatures or do I just stay at home?

You have such a nitty postflop image that it's probably ok, but it still is a horrible line imo. Def. not the correct spot to bluff raise b/c u're repping such a small range of hands.

Sounds like an easy decision to me. If you have to ask what that decision is. You're doing it wrong.

Yeah, this point cannot be made enough. I grew up in Texas, hated the heat for 17 years, and decided to go to college in the midwest to get away from the "nasty" weather. Oops. I don't mind cold, but I realized I'm too lazy to shovel snow off my truck every morning, driving on ice sucks (ice-induced fender bender two weeks before graduation), I hate carrying a coat everywhere, and you can forget about seeing hot chicks in skimpy clothes for half of the year. Some of my friends are trying to get me to move back up to Chicago, but I just don't think I can stomach those winters. The heat may suck, but it's the lesser of two evils.

+1, if I was in villain's pos. I'd be thinking "this makes no sense"

Then again random river raises at full ring almost always = rivered set in my experience.

Overall I'd say this play is STRONGLY opponent dependent. Is he a believer or non-believer?
