i usually cb flop and give up or turn it into a bluff etc..

I'd cbet this flop its a pretty good one considering you raised with 5's and have only one overcard and potential draws that will call a bet.

As played I'd probably fold the turn.

i agree with everything here

except betting is definitely > checking imo (on the flop)
