Villian was 13/5 over 130 hands. No other real reads except those stats...thoughts on how this was played?

Standardish. Id just 3bet the flop tho.

I don't like how the hand was played. when you call the flop raise (which can be all sorts of things (AF?), what is your plan on the turn if the spade comes? is Ax of spades in the range of hands you put him on? if yes, then you want to come over the top as the previous poster said or call and c/f the turn if he would limp only Axs on the button. the only other hand he would limp on the button where you puke is 33. 66 and TT+ can be ruled out I think.

I'd shove on the flop. The problem with this hand is that if you just call the flop raise and you get there, then you may not get paid off (you did in this case, I'm just speaking in general terms). Also, you have some fold equity against something like AJ. And, against the NFD, you want to get it all in on the flop since you have a pair and he doesn't.

Shove flop, IMO.

I thought about shoving flop, but one part of my game where I am horrible at, is value shoving.

Here a shove would be ~9x his raise, and 7xish the pot? I just don't see how anyone would call that? (I just switched from tourneys to FR, so this is where my game is shady)

I seriously doubt a villain running 13/5 would call a flop shove with only the NFD so if he's got a monster draw on the flop (although, I think a set is most likely), then you want to make him pay to draw out on you while you're ahead and have some fold equity. Looking only at the flop, a shove is +EV, IMO.

Anyone who flops a set will call your shove (though, you'd be behind when you shove) and you want anyone drawing to the NF to fold anyway.
