Opponent had reggy stats, 13/10 over 80 hands

Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: $61.50
BTN: $39.80
SB: $141.80
Hero (BB): $116.80
UTG: $121.80
UTG+1: $39.00
UTG+2: $136.85
MP1: $184.85
MP2: $205.75

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BB with T T
2 folds, UTG+2 raises to $3.50, 5 folds, Hero calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.50) 5 8 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $5, Hero calls $5

Turn: ($17.50) T (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 checks

River: ($17.50) A (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+2 bets $12, Hero raises to $30, UTG+2 requests TIME, UTG+2 raises to $128.35 all in

I decided to check the turn because im assuming he is gonna cbet the turn a lot with QQ+, atleast KK+, possibly a mistake.

On the river i decided to check-raise because he is gonna bet AK/AQ for value all the time and "might" bluff it with some hands like KQs. Would you lead instead?

Then he shoves, call?

I like your line and your thinking. And I'd call cause our line may look a little bluffy imho cause we're not making a big raise and villain might think that if we actually have anything then we'd value bet it on the river. I think that it's quite possible for villain to have something like AQ/AK in this spot. I just can't see how we could fold since this is exactly what we wanted to happen on the river when we check-raised. If he has 88/AA then it's a cooler imo.

Time bank shove? You're boned. Not that I'd ever fold. Ever.

lol @ nits checking back the turn w/ AA.

This is basically what happens to me 100% of the time when I play nits. I have a set, they have a higher set. I have KK in LP, they have AA. Notch another a fraction of a BB onto their WR. It's so pathetic; if it wasn't for their uncanny ability to put huge coolers on people who actually know what they're doing, the nits would be busto.

Very true, and it is frustrating, nits are nut-magnets.

Folding here and assuming he checked back the turn with aces feels like playing on such a low level of poker. I mean if he was actually bluffing in this spot and i folded i would feel dumb as hell and probably life/Quit poker since he cant really rep Aces when he checks back the turn, so how can i ever let him bluff me in this spot?

At the same time when you see the SHOVE you "know" its the aces who went for a check back turn line... Really a tilty and frustrating spot basicly.

While playing the hand i think i realised a checkraise line on the river would get me owned by aces possibly, but at the same time i figured the extra 18$ i make everytime he has AK/AQ and the extra 12$ i make when i get him to bluff could compensate it in the longrun. Assuming im always donating 70$ when he shoves.

Check-Raise-for-value-Folding could possibly be a good line in this spot but its just so unstandard and seems so ******ed that its no way i as a lowstakes grinder can feel comfortable doing it.

I don't believe anyone have the ability to check that turn with AA.

I call because sometimes AK/AT might try and extract more value I dunno. It looks a lot like AA, but *** it you have a boat.
