NL 200, trying to rep set NL 200, trying to rep set

01-04-2012 , 08:53 PM
Hi guys,

Could you, please, just do quick overview of this hand? It's against SNE, playing 15/12/2,3, flop cbet 59%, turn cbet 34%. I just thought I can force him to fold better by clearly repping set.

Did I play it OK or is it spew? Is it necessary to do this from time to time on NL200 or it's too low?

Cheers!

    he's tarping too much prolly

his flop cbet is low and his turn cbet is extremely low. he doesn't bet enough air or enough thin value hands for this to be good. also he may fold all his non-nut range on the turn, making your river shove bad.

in other words he's tarping too much

hes just gonna cawl with basically his entire continuing range on the turn, which includes tarping. lots of tarping when you barrel that rarely

you consider 34% extremely low? I thought the avg was somewhere in the 40s

probably is, but you don't find many regs with as low as 34%.

40% is considered to be "an honest player" OTT. That means, he mostly bets for value with only few bluffs.

Now, if he has 34% turn cbet range, I feel like he never bluffs and on Ax board, he probably only bets the top of his range...

Very useful information. Thank you, guys, for your help!

I think when he calls turn he is rarely folding river. Looks like you can have pr+bdfd and he will call off AK or something.
