you only have a bluff catcher... easy fold.

I bet more like halfpot on the turn though. dont feel like inducing a difficult spot and if hes got a lower PP/ or some suited 9 then he's still gonna call half pot = you make more.. that is why you are betting turn afterall. if he checked the river id bet 33% of pot or so.

he didnt miss a draw.. so him bluffing over 50% of the time here is highly unlikely.
can pretty much always put him on a boat here whether its 9s or aces full.
hes not bluffing enough of the time to make a call profitable.
that hed check call down with QQ-TT to valuebet that much is near impossible.
these are the two factors you consider when making a call.. n they do not add up to make it +ev to call here.

I just check turn planning to snap off a bet on the river, or if checked to, bet for value.

bet more on the turn, A could have hit you since lfop bet could have been a basic c-bet. find out where he is. he could be going crazy with 66 or 77, but fold on the river seems to make sense

I couldn't couldn't disagree more. Villain is a passive dude. He's a 38/6. I expect him to call the turn w/ an A hoping "you dont has da 5". Then he hits the nuts and bets the **** out of it... because even passive players bet the nuts.

He has an A here 90% of the time. The other 10% he has a 5.
