i battled through MoP, twas actually one of the first poker books I read. I wouldn't say it's necessary to understand every mathematically transformation they do in the book, but it is very important to fully understand the conclusions they draw at the end of each chapter. TVB but I got 100% in higher maths (high school level exam) and I found myself reading and re-reading certain parts of the book like 5-6 times before I understood what was going on.

PM sent to BobStal, i play around 50/50 NL50 and NL100.

If anyone wants a 4-tabling HU match 200-400nl pm me. Would even be willing to have us both record our ends and swap.

I'll 4-table anyone who wants to for 500 hands (~40 minutes) but only at 100nl.

Also, there is this thread for people looking to find HU action from regulars.

i'd be 100% down to play HU with anyone, but only at penny stakes because frankly i'm bad at HU and don't think the loss in EV is going to be worth the gain in learning

I didn't read the thread in detail, but I do a session review daily when I review the hands that made me say wtf.

If any regs were giving me a hard time, I look em up in HEM and review some of the hands they played with me/other players to try and understand how they are thinking.

Think we could set up a home game on stars and play there for pennystakes or even play money? we could open a 9max table with only the two of us, possibly. Haven't looked at home games yet, will do later on.
02-19-2011 , 12:06 PM
thats definitely possible with homegames, my friends and i use the play money homegames to avoid paying rake when we dick around
