Against 1 opponent I will call AK and AQ in position more than 3b.
I will 3b these hands if I believe the villain will call with worse frequently (call 3b stats help here) or if there is some dead money in between eg. MP opens HJ calls CO calls I am far more likely to 3b AK, AQ here.
If my hand is suited I am more likely to 3b also.
If I hit flop (TP) I will tend to play quite passively.
The benefit to playing this way is that you keep worse hands in and can get value from inducing bluffs and value towning worse A's and K's. If you 3b in position you will mostly cause hands like KQ and AJ to fold.
