where is the cool story?

dude like the other thread, you gotta stop calling with low pp's early position.

don't listen to jonathan. with a small pocket pair you can flop a set and crack an overpair. just make sure you have 10-1 implied.

Would betting bigger otf be a good play here?

Bigger turn. Fold riva, 11/8 is never vbting worse and never bluffing.

Trainwreck hand.
Fold pre unless massive whale(s) in the blinds.
Bigger flop!
Bigger turn!
c/f river!

On the river, given how you've played it, you're at the top of your range
however his river bet does seem pretty valuey, it's moreso read dependent.

Factors which will sway whether or not it's a call would be like
- If he value bets thin? What would he do with KsQs
- Would he turn 10J into a bluff here?
-What would he do with 910xx here

If unsure of how he plays, a default line with a complete unknown in this spot that i'd like is a bet ~95/fold. If he shoves as a sick bluff then gg give him your money

calling pre's fine.
sizing on the flops fine.
I'd probably raise a lil bit bigger on the turn given the ridiculous drawyness of the board.

But yeah, as played on the river, completely read dependent.

x.f river vs nit

bet fold on river probably not a good idea. mainly because your sizing would be somewhat annoying. you can't make it ~95 otr because his stack only leaves him a ittle over 100 and you would have to call a tonne on river. you can't make it a smaller bet because it induces to many shoves which u have to fold to. i like a shove there for value. he probably doesn't bluff many hands in his range there so a v-bet is probably best. folding pre is abortion. if you're not set mining with 100bb+ for 3x standard open i dunno what you're doing tbh.
