11-22-2011 , 10:42 AM
iPoker - $2 NL - Holdem - 10 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

LP: $200.00
CO: $200.00
BTN: $456.55
SB: $50.00
BB: $190.55
UTG: $137.63
UTG+1: $199.30
Hero (MP): $488.20
MP+1: $225.00 - 23/21 4% 3bet over just 300 hands
MP+2: $280.42

SB posts SB $1.00, BB posts BB $2.00

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero has A A

UTG calls $2.00, fold, Hero raises to $9.00, MP+1 raises to $28.00, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls $19.00 - Suffering some fps so I didn't 4bet So help me out with the postflop oop.. Was thinking I have to flat here from time to time but didn't realize I don't represent much..

He pretty much has JJ+ and AK

Flop: ($61.00, 2 players) 8 9 T
Hero checks, MP+1 checks - I want to c/c and reevaluate, he checks back. The whole story starts here. I don't know if he knows how light my flatting range is. If he knows puts me on AA/KK he probably even checks back JJ+ and probably cbets AK.
If he thinks I have some AK and lower pairs in my range he would most probably cbet almost anything here..

Turn: ($61.00, 2 players) 4
Hero bets $54.00, MP+1 calls $54.00 - I don't want him to see a free river so I make this kind of a bet for protection..

River: ($169.00, 2 players) J
Hero checks, MP+1 bets $143.00 - Call/fold? :P

This hand is a bit screwed up. Would like to hear some thoughts after I have flatted the 3bet..

Well I did that, but when I think about his range afterwards it doesn't look like he has many value hands.. QQ? Why didn't it bet the flop?

think about what QQ can get value from on the flop

c/c flop seems realy bad imo, i would just c/r get it in ott.
river is std c/f imo.

Had you properly 4bet it pre OOP, you wouldn't have had to open the thread, as it's easy play later.

not 4betting in these positions is super bad
